  1. Now I'm upset i lost root did update and still no ca plus remembered adaway is a huge reason i like being rooted
  2. Also i turned off auto retrieve to not be vulnerable I have ca on it says not configured though i have been on many 41 sites in long Island and southern ct and have not seen it active so am wondering if it is my software revision
  3. I'm on oe2 right now i don't use many features of root besides debloat but i do eventually want to flash rom when better ones are available and i like being able to edit build prop plus am waiting on xposed
  4. Do i need the latest update if i manually enabled ca i live on long Island and commute to ct every day and have not seen any ca yet i just don't want to lose root with no knox trip
  5. My upload hasn't changed much but ping and download have improved i disabled sar back off and set antennas to auto diversity on both ping seemed slightly more consistent by 10 to 20 ms but throughout was no where near as consistent i have gone from average 3 to 5 to 8 to 10 in my bedroom also i now alternate from one to two bars when used to be 0 to 1
  6. And sar back off is real http://www.tested.com/tech/tablets/3302-how-the-3g-ipad-2-protects-you-from-radiation-cutting-signal-strength/
  7. Still wondering if our phones support mfbi and all lte a phones only transmit on one antenna or so some use mimo on uplink as well
  8. I went from single modulation Layer 16 qam to 64 and 64 fluctuating to 16 and 64 and my dl speed increased to 8 from 5 in my house on b25 also my transmit power didn't go above 22 when it is normally pegged at 23
  9. Also i set to auto diversity and got 8 mb down same upload our phones default to both on lte and umts for some reason
  10. Go to super user and settings then clean up for new version install reboot then try
  11. None for me but as far as everyone talking about unlocking it may be relevant to them Also in response to changing antenna settings if you go to ##testmenu# in galaxy tools their is a mrd setting that had options for different modes as well not sure if it is just testing or changing them
  12. Also their seems to be alot of bands supported by our hardware i am looking for a way to enable them maybe put phone into dev or eng mode
  13. Yes you can change network settings and in galaxy tools select iothiddenmenu then test mode
  14. Their is seperate settings for cdma umts and WiFi however i would assume when lte is transmitting that the other antennas wouldn't be operating as our whole no svdo situation so they wouldn't be pulling signal and i would think it's worth checking if having WiFi enabled causes issues with losing lte which could explain turning off connections optimizer as wifi is 2.4 or 5 so the 2.4 will be attenuated at a close frequency to b41
  15. I found setting to disable it can be set to both primary secondary or diversity if you go to test menu in galaxy tools or i belive through dialer codes you go to ue settings and info Settings System Diversity control
  16. Also for aj as sensitivity is great but transmission is not would it make sense to disable antenna diversity as the secondary antenna will absorb some signal from what i have read can be 5 to 10 db depending on placement
  17. I found out how to unlock sim galaxy tools will allow you to do it use ping pong root and then it is a one click affair in galaxy tools also will have access to real engineering screen and much more
  18. How did you do unlock with msl and also if you do ping pong root you won't trip knox and can edit your build prop to enable service menus
  19. For some reason with dfu and cdma workshop i can't get prl to stick i can read phone and read the prl but will not write it i was able to flash corporate prl 56025 on the note 4 no problem i do feel that the stock prl would connect to lte more often but the corporate prl Def allowed true 3g roaming
  20. The 810 supports fdd tdd ca but i guess sprint hasn't enabled it do you think it will be able to be upgraded in future ? Thank you for your time
  21. What about mfbi dies that have to be supported on the phone and does gs6 support i just returned my note 4 and got a second galaxy s6 i an wondering if i should have kept the note 4 as it seems to have been better with upload speeds on lte i just hated no roaming bands or ca but if mfbi is network side only i really well kick myself as 26 and 25 are supersets of other bands. I also am assuming if it is going to be a long time away 25 41 ca is not on msm 9635 and only the 810 supports this feature. I do like the note 4 and i guess stronger cat4 is better than weaker cat6 especially if it really won't come into play for at least a year but i get very indecisive and love the gs6 but note battery life is great as well
  22. Also last question how is everyone seeing their tx power as my phone shows everything but that on note and gs6 when on the engineering screen from *#0011#
  23. My question is then even before update i noticed that my s6 will go to b41 when my note 4 will stay on b25 or 26 and before update had better signal on 41 or any band than note 4 but we know transmission power is low however at this point that doesn't seem to be a factor in connecting to b41 sites however i do notice if i am browsing it is fine but during speed test runs it will switch to b25 or 26 in middle of upload as i am on fringe of b41 i even had a m9 for couple of days which wouldn't connect to b41 at my house meanwhile i can walk inside with gs6 hold b41 if by front door or window until i try and use any data. Now my real question that will make all this important is apparently gs6 is very sensitive as far as reception so if it supports cross carrier aggregation for b26 or 25 and 41 then these phones will be amazing as it seems that current tower signal levels are already at the point where gs6 runs out of tx power way before signal becomes weak on rx end
  24. Does the galaxy s6 support carrier aggregation across ltt/fdd or only one or other and also does it support mfbi or that is a network side feature
