  1. Thats where i dont get it. I know 1x800 should be good to go. Ceder Point has it and thats alot closer to Canada than we are. I know they can limit the power and such, but every site has the 800 RRU up and as we know you go stright up to Temperance or anywhere north just one RRU. If you look at the Premier section theres some schedule dates for LTE 800 and we have a few tho that was way back in March-April. So does that affect us or not....thats where i think ryan and i both are like...What?!?!? Guess the only way too see for know is keep and eye out and see if its here by years end..if not than we prob will be waiting till next year than.
  2. I was thinking trying thr FCC website...but thats like trying to find a needle in a hay stack for me. Of cource if anyone else knows please share. We have two rrus up on every site in our market besides any GMOs. So 1x800 shouldnt be the issuse. But is the IBEZ still in affect for us having the 800 RRU up and north they just have the 1900?
  3. I did alot of mapping with that tower. It was accepted almost a week ago but had just turned it on a few days ago...weird. anyway guess Syvania has 3 more towers to go. Heres to hoping for ya ryan..towers to North, South, East and West of ya. Just that little poor water tower that someone forgot to hook the backhaul too lol
  4. Good question. I wish, well we all Do. This just my Opinion of course and it may be way off but it's prob the lack of management taking care of it in the first place..not only our sites but nationwide should have more sites with LTE. Someone didn't enforce it like they should have. But again just my thoughts based on what I know. Its unfortunate but there's nothing we can do but hope Sprint can come up with something with the lack of backhaul to the sites
  5. The big issues with Toledo: 1.We have trees all over the place that block the signal. I used to get a decent LTE signal from my house but scince the trees have got leaves and such it's worst. 2. The tower height all over Toledo is not very high at all so again anything in its way will reduce the amount of signal being able to go threw. 3. They may have not optimized all sites yet to there full output. 4. With all this we need 800. When? Idk I don't think anyone will know it maybe next week it may not be till next year.
  6. Hey your not the only one that don't have it yet poor Ryan in Sylvania don't have LTE, yet there's a fiber line just waiting to be hooked up and every tower in Toledo and metro has LTE but one site that was a GMO now converted to full build and 4 out of the 5 Sylvania towers don't have LTE..your not the only one, it is what it is...sucks I know.
  7. That really sucks...I wouldn't know what to do if I lost my little brother or any one that young....Donation sent.
  8. 800 on both sides will help with coverage and in building penetraten for sure. I agree with you 100% on that i drive around Toledo and go out toward the west like Defience and such and i have issues with coverage on LTE. 800 will Definitely take care of the coverage gaps. Next time you Happen to get 1x800 take a Screen shot of Signalcheck im interested to see where its coming from.
  9. Well Verizon can add towers left and right cus of $$$ so that's why. Tho Sprint has money now too but why have a bunch of towers and in the long run cost more to operate when you can have fewer and cover more ground. Sprint should already have the RRUs for 1x800 already up and ready to go once its been 3G accepted which it has. It was a lot to do with public safety issues, now that is delt with its just Sprint getting out there to Intergrate (test and do we) with the towers. LTE 800 is a card that they need to put in there in order to have it work if im right, which at this point should also be put in place. Hard telling with Lima you guys are more likely to get LTE 800 than us in Toledo and area if the IBEZ deal is in effect for us. I understand your guys frustration Ryan and I had to deal with it for 3 months of nothing but dropped calls and no data, I my self had to go to TMOs just to get by. Things should looking better tho with this new CEO he sounds like he ant no joke.....heres to hoping by years end that things are good enough to deal with it to a satisfactory level.
  10. I think if they wanted to they could ask if they can put there equipment and such there if the tower can support it. Tho I know where the tower locations are this is why Sprint plans on having 800 going on voice and LTE. From personal experience idk if it was testing or what but I was getting 800 Voice from a tower from 7 miles away (note this tower is not high and has a lot of different terrain to go through and I was getting -95 to -100 for a signal. If its open its very possible for it to travel 20-30 miles if not more, so once that is done with 800 it will help with coverage. All I can say is Lima does have 6 towers inside the limits of the city. Sent from my LG G2
  11. Actually for us blame the local emergency people. Now that the all clear has been made and all licence's have been delt with for all of Ohio they will be able to start with 800. If you notice we have Two Rrus on our towers ones for 800 other 1900, go north only one. Likely hood it'll be the later part than sooner but we will have it...and need it. Sent from my LG G2
  12. what Ryan is trying yo say is most of the info about 2500 is in the premier sponsors section, but 2500 aka band 41 LTE is the frequency which will be cable of 50-70 MBPS and more in the future. Will also help with capacity issues. That'd all I can share right now outside of premiere section. Sent from my LG G2
  13. Funny thing tho on the NV complete map (which is in the sponsors section with so much info) you can kind of tell that the areas that have LTE are not in CL areas and those that are don't have LTE yet...hmmm just a random thought as you said Jay I hope you guys do get it soon.
  14. https://www.centurylink.com/wholesale/territory_maps_us.html here you go I posted this a while back but heres a link you can follow, but yes they do service Lima, sorry for the big picture lol I don't feel like resizing it right now so its going to stand for now.
  15. Century Link used to be Embark and yes they do DSL and backhaul work for towers. If you don't have LTE yet its prob them slow pokes sounds like one of there trucks tho Sent from my LG G2
  16. How about some 800?? Or wait 2500...oh ya thats started already in Toledo, be jeloius or just be patient..it will come not like there's not thousands of towers nationwide that don't have LTE yet hmmmm
  17. To be honest those Sprint reps don't know there head from the arse which I cant put all the blame on them they sit on a computer screen and that's all it says....I wouldn't bother even trying to ask a CSR...best bet is to see whats on here and what others say. This site gives the truth and wealth of info.....if you donate money...even if its a dollar or two isall you can afford than do it...im just saying that your questions for the most part could be answered in the Sponsor section...or even more in the Premier.
  18. So I'm in Downtown Toledo at the fireworks with a close to 100,000 People and I can still get texts send them same with calls, data is not fast but its usable to some degree..if you knew last year you couldn't even make a call or anything at this time last year..I just thought I'd share this with everyone...800 and 2500 will just put the iceing on the cake. Sent from my LG G2
  19. Nope same old same old..our market as all new equitment up on 100 percent of towers, and half way with LTE. I hope for you guys down in Lima, BG and Vanwert area that by the end of the month at least have some type of useable LTE. Oh I can't forget my best friend Ryan and all of Sylvania, besides my tower lol
  20. I was out there today and didn't even notice it till I got on 24 I was like oh Napoleon tower than I was like crap I'm in Defiance hurried up and ran sensorly...by the way it was accepted yesterday sirr Sent from my LG G2
  21. Tower by Defience on east side is now pushing out LTE Sent from my LG G2
  22. Well I see you have an iPhone, but I would recommend that your brother run Sensorly or it didn't happen. Nothing has been accepted of yesterday I will know when its been officially accepted... Any towers in Lima Sent from my LG G2
  23. Yes with 3G, Backhaul is like your eathernet cable at home for internet, but instead its eather Fiber or microwave that they are using for internet for the towers
