For $10 more per month and a 2 year contract, you might wind up saving more money on EPRP over the new $60 plan over the course of 2 years if you typically upgrade on that 2 year schedule. For example, a Galaxy S5 is currently $99 on contract, $599 off contract. On EPRP, you'd pay $240 more for the service over the 2 year contract compared to the $60 plan, but would save $500 on the phone... net $260 win for the consumer if you don't mind having the contract.
