Loving the excitement in this thread.
LTE lighting up here and there brings the same feeling of a new phone on launch day.

Airplane mode just resets the antennas to force the phone to connect to 4g, you would usually have the same effect if you reset the phone, or update the prl.
So in order to get LTE I'm going to have to always either toggle airplane mode or power of the entire phone? That makes no sense to me.

Maybe someone can answer this for me. I have the Note 2. My network mode is set to CDMA/LTE/EVDO. When set to automatic I see no difference.
Based on network mode, why do I have to toggle airplane mode to pick up any 4G?

Hey, long time no see .
Well I'm always have it in my hands like a vise grip lol still when I read that someone else has dropped and messed up theirs it strikes a fear in my heart.

LOL! Normally mine is in my hand and I've gotten quite good at pocketing it before doing anything.
There was a time I could juggle a whole lot at one time with a phone drop being the least of my concerns.
Now, I'll drop a carton of eggs before I drop my phone.

You guys are making me nervous with all these Notes falling and breaking.
Time for me to bubble wrap this thing.

I don't take one foot step until mine is securely in my pocket. Probably why I've avoided drops thus far (knock on wood).

AAAAH! My poor Note 2 took a swan dive today and is completely shattered!! The insurance deductible is now $200 in case anyone has need of it in the future.
The worse part about it, is that due to the popularity of the device, they are backordered and it will take 5 business days for a replacement?!

Ouch! So sorry that happened to you. Hopefully you'll get your replacement before 5 days.

When I'm on these forums I treat everyone the same. Who a person works for doesn't determine my level of respect for them.Let's treat them with respect since they are working and doing their job. I have no doubt they know very little and we may have more information then they do at times.

Unless it's announced I wouldn't know one Sprint employee from another here and don't see why it even matters.
I don't care who works for who.
We're all here in this thread for the same reason....LTE

Isn't it funny!!! Bashing them? Do you mean in a neutral manner and completely unbiased?
No one is bashing them. Quite funny when someone lives in Harrisburg and claims to be in Philly and do not even know about the status of Philly;s 3G. Odd isn't it.
Maybe it's me but I can't wrap my head around any of this being related to LTE. 90% of Sprint employees don't have a clue what's going on and they get a paycheck.

So, you do see the coverage on the website correct?
Website shows very light purple as indicative of 4G.

BothAre you using the website or the app to look at the map? The app seems to have an issues refreshing the maps, but on the website you can see many spots of LTE now.

So many people rely heavily on Sensorly yet when looking at the map on the app I ALWAYS see nothing. Just a blip where I'm at.
It's been this way for all the months I've had it installed. If there is 4G somewhere I can't tell based on this app.

I was out earlier in the same places as yesterday (19139 & 19082) and couldn't pick up LTE anywhere.
Standing with my son at 55th & Chestnut; he on his iPhone 5 had very strong LTE. Me with the Note 2 had nothing. Odd!

I wish I could say the same but 3G hasn't been that kind to me for the last year. Eventual LTE is what kept me holding on.Yeah I am just getting impatient, 3G is pretty good for me but I want the speed of LTE. <img src='http://s4gru.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2

I forgot to click "view map" before stopping mapped trip.
Started at 56th & Market St (Phila PA 19139) via Market-Frankford to 69th St. (Upper Darby PA 19082).
Return from 19082 via Septa Rte 21 bus to 19139

Did you map it with sensorly?

I couldn't map with Sensorly. As a matter of fact it couldn't perform a speed test saying no connection available. This was near 56th Market St.

Thank you Robert. Hard to know what to look for when you don't know what you're looking at.
LTE cannot come to Philadelphia PA fast enough as I cant use the 'net unless connected to wifi.

Towers and all that stuff I don't have a clue about. Sitting at an auto shop today I happened to look up and this caught my attn. This is at 55th & Walnut St. Philadelphia PA. Whatever that is on top of this building I don't ever recall seeing before yet at the same time if I had, I still would not have known what it is.
So my question.....what's these white things?
