  1. Pretty disappointed. It's been a little over 10 months since I first got an LTE signal. Coverage is much improved since then. I'd say I get an LTE signal about 75% of the time anywhere between Fort Worth and Irving. Unfortunately, though, speeds leave a lot to be desired. Areas where I'd previously get 20-30 Mbps I'm now getting 203. And their 3G has gotten atrocious. I work near the airport and my phone is pretty much worthless anywhere bound by 114, 635, Beltline, and Royal. Unless things improve drastically by November, I'll be switching to Verizon. Sorry, Sprint. I tried to be patient...
  2. I've been very patient. What's troubling me is the posted 4G coverage map on Sprint's website that's posted above. (Didn't show up in my quote of the original post containing it, sorry.) If it's accurate, then there's a problem with both my and my wife's phone, which i find hard to believe. If it's not accurate, then Sprint needs to post one that is isn't deceiving.
  3. If this is accurate, I'm taking my phone back and switching carriers. I still only get LTE in a few select spots, and even then, it still seems to be sporadic. Don't get me wrong, I've been a loyal Sprint customer for 10+ years, and I'm happy with the LTE when I get it. But if the new network is as complete as this map is trying to indicate, and there are not further towers being deployed, I'm out.
  4. Is anyone else having problems where their phone will only work in CDMA Only mode? This first happened about a month and a half ago. I called Sprint, and they quickly advised me on how to fix it, but didn't offer an explanation as to why it was happening. I'm not sure if this is a Sprint issue, or an problem with the EVO 4G LTE. also, when it occurs, my notification bar shows I have a 3G signal, and it's attempting to up/download data, but nothing happens. I get timeout and page won't load errors. I really hope this isn't an issue specific to the phone. If so, between that and toggling between CDMA Only and CDMA/LTE modes to force a 4G connection, I'm really wondering if I should have gone with the GSIII. One additional note - this only occurs when i'm at work in Irving, just north of the airport. Thanks.
  5. Got consistent low 30s down the other night in Saginaw. Saginaw. Go figure...
  6. That kind of surprises me. All of the travelers through DFW, all of the hotels around the airport, and all of the industry surrounding it.. I guess they're more concerned about private residences. Which is good, it just doesn't help me out here at work. LOL BTW, got a great signal sitting at the bar on Friday. 35W in between Basswood and Western Center. 12-13 Mbps indoors.
  7. Really? I work near the airport and and have only picked up a weak LTE signal a couple times.
  8. Everything seems back to normal and then some. Good signal in all known spots plus fewer drops in between. Speeds ranged from 5 to 29.
  9. Something changed last night. Now getting consistent 12 Mbps down at home. Let's see what I get in my way in to work tonight.
  10. Not sure what is going on in DFW. For last two weeks I've been getting 4G signals in more and more places, faster speed tests... Then this week they have completely regressed. I'm not getting signals in places I once was, and in places where I was getting download speeds of 20-30 Mbps I'm now getting <1.0, even though I'm showing a full strength 4G signal. WTH?!?!? The first set was run near 377 and 820. The second set was run near glade and 26.
