I say this, because, at first, I thought he was talking about a Sprint Native tower. But it is an Ntelos tower. The project was approved one month ago. Can't imagine that construction and Setup will be done in such short time.

The network would serve both direct and Sprint customer, though it does not specify what services would be available. Their network can serve CDMA/LTE to direct customers and CDMA ONLY to others. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

I can't imagine they would realistically expect Sprint subs to move over to ntelos. Either through Sprint or direct , ntelos is getting paid. I think reality is that their agreement does not include anything other than CDMA/EVDO services. According to sources within this thread, they are demanding a 10 dollar a month ransom from their own customers to upgrade to LTE. It would stand to reason that they would want Sprint to make a separate contract for LTE. SPRINT might actually over build in this area. There Doesn't Seem To Be Evidence Of Contract Talks Beyond 2015, at least not at a glance. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

After reading the article, all I get is that the current agreement that expires in 2015 ONLY covers CDMA service. There is no mention of LTE for Sprint subs anywhere, save from speculation on the part of the author. It appears NTELOS guys are saying the truth. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

I think they are still playing hardball with Sprint: They want to get bought out. Otherwise, a move that could affect 40% of your revenue, would make no sense. This, of course, if any of what the agent told me is true Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

I just called Sprint about this and, according to the agent that I talk to, this is true. He said that ,as far as he could see, they did not have an LTE agreement with NTELOS. He seemed to to imply that they would be over building for LTE. Probably BS, but depressing anyway. Sent from my SM-N900P using Tapatalk

What hope would there be for anyone here to find out if this detail about the agreement is true. They seem to be pretty insistent, as if they were prepared to answer that question.
