  1. Good morning all.  I did some mapping with Root Metrics this morning from Fairmont (Whitehall) to Morgantown (Westover Exit/Granville) and I got some different results.  Seems as if there is now LTE in parts of Fairmont.  It was spotty at times.  Areas were great from Nasa building to interstate.  Got spotty around east fairmont and just about a mile north of Goshen Rd, however I was at times hitting speeds of 25Mbps, but mostly from 7 to 14 Mbps..

  2. I'm in the Granville/Westover area.  Out by the Arbys/Morgantown Mall..  I took a quick drive to Burger King and back and kept it on continuous and seemed to do decent until I got under the i79 bridge and went up the hill to the Burger King.  slowed down like it handed off to another tower but still kept LTE on my phone.  Then when returning after passing under the bridge the speeds keept increasing.

  3. So Marion county wv (fairmont) is supposedly being upgraded to 4g lte by either sprint or ntelos. I'm guessing ntelos. Both sprint and ntelos have told me that towers are being upgraded the next few weeks after I experienced no data for 4 hours yesterday. Anyone else experience that or been told that?

  4. I live in Morgantown/Fairmont area in WV.  I have Sprint.  I have an iPhone 5s.  I received a text from Sprint saying the network is being upgraded.  Something about the "new network"  I called and asked Sprint she did say it was LTE being deployed in Morgatown this month!  I then asked an Ntelos rep and he said it was Ntelos doing it not Sprint and that Sprint would benefit from this from what he has heard.
