  1. So in Fairmont/Morgantown we are roaming off of US Cellular (or may be...) Is there a way I could find out?
  2. Good morning all. I did some mapping with Root Metrics this morning from Fairmont (Whitehall) to Morgantown (Westover Exit/Granville) and I got some different results. Seems as if there is now LTE in parts of Fairmont. It was spotty at times. Areas were great from Nasa building to interstate. Got spotty around east fairmont and just about a mile north of Goshen Rd, however I was at times hitting speeds of 25Mbps, but mostly from 7 to 14 Mbps..
  3. I knew I wasn't nuts. The lte lasted from west over to about east fairmont exit.
  4. Still same. Not sure what is going on. I go home around 3pm. I will see what it does when heading to Fairmont area. I will run continuous while traveling as well.
  5. Im going to reset network settings and see what it does...
  6. Could this be a fluke? I havent been anywhere with LTE besides where I am. I wouldve thought that when I switched towers it wouldve set me back to 3g and slowed down. My phone hasnt turned off LTE since I been here. Is there anyway to test my phone any differently?
  7. Ok Root Metrics has updated their maps... I can see the results now
  8. I'm in the Granville/Westover area. Out by the Arbys/Morgantown Mall.. I took a quick drive to Burger King and back and kept it on continuous and seemed to do decent until I got under the i79 bridge and went up the hill to the Burger King. slowed down like it handed off to another tower but still kept LTE on my phone. Then when returning after passing under the bridge the speeds keept increasing.
  9. Ill go out and drive around now. And let it run continuous.
  10. I'm sitting right in Morgantown testing on root metrics via LTE getting anywhere from 7Mbps to 13Mbps. No lie...
  11. I wasnt even paying attention today. And went to stream some music and thought it started a little fast and looked at the notification bar and said LTE.
  12. Ok.. Morgantown/Granville area Sprint customer. I am seeing LTE on my phone.... Is Morgantown now on LTE?????
  13. That agreement was already signed for network use on both 3G and LTE Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. So Marion county wv (fairmont) is supposedly being upgraded to 4g lte by either sprint or ntelos. I'm guessing ntelos. Both sprint and ntelos have told me that towers are being upgraded the next few weeks after I experienced no data for 4 hours yesterday. Anyone else experience that or been told that? 15. I live in Morgantown/Fairmont area in WV. I have Sprint. I have an iPhone 5s. I received a text from Sprint saying the network is being upgraded. Something about the "new network" I called and asked Sprint she did say it was LTE being deployed in Morgatown this month! I then asked an Ntelos rep and he said it was Ntelos doing it not Sprint and that Sprint would benefit from this from what he has heard. Update: To further prove my story this popped up on my sprint account.. One more....
