    I've noticed this as well. A few weeks back, I bought a new pair of Bose SoundTrue headphones, cranked the volume on my G3 all the way up to test them out, and was a bit disappointed. The max volume on my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is much better.

     

    So far, this is the only complaint I have about the G3, and for me, it's a very minor one. :)

    I have not found a way to do this without root. There may be an app I'm unaware of but there is no native support which is a bummer. I to wanted to do the same thing but the only options I found were rooted.

    Yeah, Sprint in all their ultimate wisdom took out LG Themes. So until root or an OTA, we don't get any. I yelled at them already.

    I'm coming from a Nexus 5 and there's too much bloatware on the G3 in my opinion...

     

    Is there anyway to get rid of them?

    Yeah. You can uninstall or disable all of it except Sprint Zone and Sprint ID. Make sure you uninstall Sprint Recommended Apps first thing or it reinstalls all the bloats.

    Having root first would help that tremendously. There are 0 ROMS except stock right now.

    No Im not a network guru. Im here learning things. I can use 3G data and voice, but not LTE and voice. It's confusing. So that means 3G radio and 4G are separate and LTE and voice are using the same radio. So is the new network capable of VoLTE or is it device specific? I try reading all I can, but some of this stuff is confusing for people who don't know all the network lingo.

    Ok. So what. I could do it on uniband, why is it not working on a way more advanced device and network. I don't care its not VoLTE whatever that is because that's not Sprint. Can anyone maybe explain why a call compromises data transfer? It's epically dumb.

    This phone is not much bigger than my S3 was with a very slim fit case on it. Maybe 2cm. Amazing job of fitting huge screen in small body. Just go hold one. And for as smooth as it is it is amazingly easy to keep a great grip on. This is an amazing handset. If I had to chose on being stuck on TW or LG stock, LG wins hands down.

    I have to say signal strength on this is miles above the S3 I just came from. I know I went from a 2 year old uniband device to a brand new Spark device but damn. I get reception places my S3 never did.

     

    I have a question. I have Signal Check Pro set up to show LTE and 1x. On my S3 it switched between 1x800 and 1xRTT. Is there a voice band signal check isn't showing? I'm not seeing any 1xRTT and only 800 in spots. Calls and SMS are working, but on what?
