I'm sorry to tell you this is not a rumor. Verizon paid for Opens LTE network. And they are requiring Open a handful of customers on postpaid plans before the do anything else here.

Trust me on this... Open paid for their network and went pretty deep into their pockets getting Ericcson to get them LTE and Prepa Net to get the fibers for it...

  2. is that info true? anybody can verify if verizon will take control of openmobile or its just a rumor........

This was a rumor. Open invested their own cash on their LTE network, they might use the same equipment as Verizon (either phones or antennae equipment) but that rumor is false. Verizon cant come to the island for a few more years, part of the agreement they had when they sold their assets to Claro.

But do you think that US signal is worst that in Puerto Rico in recent year ??? I dont think so because I have a lot of family and friend that tell me the signal are horrible and one of the reason I switch to sprint is because of the NV! But I agree with you at least work is being done! And when is done is going to be a high demand company in puerto rico because is the best plan!

Yes, signal is as bad in some areas of the US as in PR, why do you think there are many people jumping ship or jus mad because of their service?

Back on topic: guys remember to map using Sensorly and osva, what area in Guaynabo?

  4. There has been no more progress in Ponce with LTE. There's only coverage in the same areas that had coverage 2 weeks ago. And here i was starting to think Ponce was gonna get covered fast.

Some places have the same amount of coverage since theyve been spotted... patience guy. We have a LOT more LTE than a lot of people in the States.

  5. Alright, flashed digiblurs PRL, sitting where the PR 165 meets the PR 23, entrance of Ft Buchannan, a couple of feet from where Sensorly spots LTE and 0 4G points given. Sadness... I still run Sensorly for spotting it just in case.

Edit: what time do you guys usually get your LTE signals?
