  1. it's been upgraded you can use this phone as a riot shield
  2. the screen is the whole selling point and the resolution is terrible if you want to check one of the Phonensteins out, AT&T has them in the stores now
  3. this thing is HUGE. holding it up to your ear brings back memories of those early 90's WW II walkie talkie sized phones no way you can put it in your pocket unless you wear cargo pants if you wanted to look like an uber nerd and clip it to your belt, you would have to take it off anytime you wanted to sit but what really makes the Mega the Edsel of phones is that the screen resolution is terrible isn't the screen the reason people would buy this phone? you are better off just buying a tablet
  4. The rough time line is- a long time Sprint is struggling to fill the many holes in their LTE coverage, get rid of WiMax, repurpose the Nextel network and integrate Clearwire. They are losing the coverage war so this is what they are focused on. VoLTE requires a whole new internal infrastructure and is definitely on the back burner. As of now, Verizon is the only one rolling out VoLTE
  5. they are sticking with the hybrid model until VoLTE which, hopefully, our grandchildren will see
  6. When you make a voice call, the Sprint network will suspend your data session while your call is routed to a legacy MSC by the LTE Mobility Management Entity. When you disconnect, you data session will continue. Sprint went to this hybrid concept to eliminate the need for two radios (CDMA and LTE) in the handsets AFAIK, VoLTE is not even on the roadmap. They are struggling to get basic LTE coverage in place. So it will be this way for a while.
