  1. I wouldn't consider that too high of an expectation at all. Basically said if you have shady 3G at a location you frequent now, you'd expect B26 to more than make up for it down the line in order for you to consider the LTE rollout complete to your liking. I'd 100% agree on the "well at least there's wifi statement" because I find myself saying, "thankfully brighthouse has customer wifi in the area" with some of the stores I frequent. One thing we lacked in initial rollout that Verizon and (don't quote me to this for our market) AT&T had was precious LTE in the 700mhz family to punch through just about anything. That of course came with a price as I've read AT&T is looking at a slough of different bands to beat capacity issues and potentially aggregate (B2, B4, B17, B29, B30). We all know Verizon has been seeding in AWS-1 handsets since this time last year to prioritize users to it's B4 overlay.
  2. That's an absolutely beautiful speed test to match the weather we're having today. Must say with LTE being consistent (mind you I had an EvoLte in June when I went) throughout the parks for me back then, it only made me wonder how much better it could get once gaps are filled in the market. When I was in Miami with the s4, I didn't see 3G until cape Canaveral on I-95 coming back home. It was a godsend as far as battery life goes also. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  3. Location was Altamonte on I-4 @ the I-4-Eye-Sore aka between 436 and 434. LTE was on and off in the area for me. Could've been a CSFB slight issue or just something I haven't paid much attention to before. Especially since the G2 is my first CSFB device (if the iPhone 5 didn't count). . . Wishing for 1x800 advanced more than 800LTE. I find myself needing to use calling/sms in fringes more than data (your personal preference may And most likely will vary from mine). And side tracked but important to me, what's Sprint main roaming partner in our market? Always curious to know because when I'm on a call while roaming onto MetroPCS text will not send with an active call. This has been true for the S4 and HTCOne I've had and now my G2 as well. I rarely see Signal Check say Verizon when roaming but if it does and I make a call, text send immediately. Anyone else experience this? Or willing to help me figure if it's just been my phones the whole time? Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

  5. Reminds me of rural GA back in October. Was shocked to see a lot of roaming gaps seemed to have a weak but usable 3G signal and then by the time the 3G signal raised LTE was there... in the sticks. The progress of network vision has been a weird one in some areas. Places I'd least expect to have 4G have it. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  6. That's the same I say. While 20 down is awesome, most websites can't pitch the pages to you that fast. Pretty happy with my current 3G speeds. Headed to pickup the LTE SIM now from a knowledgeable corporate store... be surprised how many" Sprint doesn't use SIM cards" replies I got from the stores I called yesterday... 9. Nice speeds, I've seen the 5x5 max around 36 down, 10 up. I spent a week on a 3G only device here in the Daytona area, and I must say it's usable where I've been frequenting. Averaging 1 down and near the same up seemed unfathomable a year ago. May be the reason I'm not rushing to get a SIM for my G2 just yet... But I'm sort of lost as to what exactly is Sprints goal is here in our market... Consistency and Speed? Or just pure consistency? I've seen a fair bit of one or the other but not both when it comes to LTE.
  10. No problem, glad to help. TEP open enrollment is pretty randon to me, I do know when activating or swapping to a phone, the TEP option is allowed to you if the phone is still insurable. Also, Apple never admited it was their fault. More of a "We've never seen this, it's your cariers fault. "Their signal is broadcasting wrong" lol
  11. Had my iPhone 5 (first one I bought 12/16) do that. Went to the sprint store by volusia mall to get it checked out, insurance replaced it no cost to me, beyond the $11 monthly TEP. iOS 7 may have borked the radio in mine, that's what they concluded for mine. Could be network for you honestly... mileage may very UPS is taking forever on the G2
  12. Went there summer 2013 with the lg viper, headache to where I just airplane mode it Side note: Don't know if anyone is hunting for LTE 2600 / LTE 800 in the Daytona / Deltona area, but just ordered my G2
  13. For what it's worth, I'm constantly back and forth on I-4 between Daytona Beach and Deltona. I was in the 32720 zip when I recieved the text. To be honest, I can't wait for LTE800. iPhone 5c/5s and Nexus 5 are looking lovely for a mid contract swap to me (Mainly for unlocked/unlocking purposes if my acct holder decides to jump ship on that T-Mobile offer)
  14. Anyone receive one of these wonderful "thoughtful reminder" messages yet? Lovely to know considering the network and it's randomness lately here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Man it's been awhile since I've posted but more than willing to second this analogy, definitely should spread like a wildfire once it does spark up. I remember when I first used LTE1900 and how disappointed I was (though my disappointment should have been in the device, not the network in hindsight). The networks true worth in LTE1900 alone is not even fully showcased in it's most complete buildouts. Correct if I'm wrong but is any market 100% yet? Or even 95%?
  16. I wonder how long until widespread rollout in the south florida, south georgia area. Those seem to have the most rapid LTE growths the past 5 months
  17. Bet we all wish this speed was constant. Considering I was literally in the middle of no where in the Southeast corner of the Orlando market, these speeds are unlikely for regular enjoyment. Hope my 20,000 plus sensorly points from the weekend benefit everyone.. (orlando to weston on the first (turnpike to 595 to 75). The second was weston to outside daytona beach taking I-95 to ft pierce. Turnpike to I-4)
