  1. Wow BHam. Not even a 2nd B25 carrier. Haven't run into B41. Speeds Saturday were around 6~8Mbps all day.

Currently at the Indy race pulling in 15Mbps for now.

At least the experience is still smooth.

One thing I'll give Sprint ID the market seems dense. Rarely saw B25 lower than -100dBm.

I don't think you will find any B41 here unfortunately.  B25 is fairly dense and you will generally see decent speeds unless you are in the downtown area during business hours or a major event in which case it can be anywhere from decent to awful.

  2. A warning to anyone else who may be activating this phone online.  Online activation went fine recognizing the correct phone and not prompting to do a chat HOWEVER, it tried to change my plan from the $60 Unlimited Plan to a $90 Unlimited Plan.  I had to select change plans where I was presented with a $75 Unlimited Plan and in very small print, the option to keep my existing plan. After selecting that link the activation went fine and I remain on the correct plan.  Just a heads up.

  3. That's the big problem, it doesn't even load mini os. This is the process: The phone turns on, it starts loading mini os, something goes wrong and mini os stays loading for a minute or two, the phone reboots and repeats the process again until it discharges.

Look at my post #187, there is a picture of the screen my phone is stuck in.

See if you can get back into download mode again by plugging in the usb and holding volume up as soon as it reboots.  If that fails let the battery drain and try to get into download mode after it dies completely.  The only thing that comes to mind is you need to get back into download mode and redo the flash.

  4. Since my phone was rooted, I decided to start fresh with the zv5 TOT but it just sent my phone into a minios bootloop. It stays at the minios booting screen, reboots and keeps repeating the same process.

When mini os loads you need to press the power button and click the on screen button that says something like normal boot or normal restart and it should start as normal.

  5. How is that market coming a long.  Going to the auto race this weekend in Leeds.  Trip doesn't look good from Chattanooga.

B26 heavily deployed down there?  B41 coming up well?  Root just went there and for data seems like a very meh market.

A little late for you but maybe it will help someone else.  There is LTE coverage at Barber Motorsports Park.  Root Metrics wasn't wrong, data can be painfully slow here at times and at other times it is just average but acceptable for pretty much any use.

There are some band 26 sites online in the Birmingham area but I am not sure how widespread they are.  I have seen no band 41 at all.
