  1. lol its true though the only thing i can say because it has been release by S4GRU is cincinati market has phase 1 LTE band 41 scheduled and phase 2 also. to get more info you need to become a premier sponsor

I believe am halfway to becoming a "Premier Sponsor" - but the closest towers to me in New Paris have new cabinets and that is it.  Is there a time frame in Premier that is accurate?

  2. Just found this topic...I called Sprint last night because I have crap data and crap calls at my house.  They are sending a techician to the towers to check them out.

My question is....I have internet with a local WISP  and only have 1.5 down/750 up.  Pings are in the 70's.  Would the Airwave work on this?

  3. Sprint tower which is located in Richmond, IN south of I-70... the north side of Richmond.

It has new cabinets, and new antennas on top of the tower. Appears that the cables are all still going to the old cabinets.

For some reason there are cat 5 cables going to the old cabinet that are just laying on top of the ground.

  4. Here are pics of the progress on the tower off I-70 by Richmond, IN on the state line.

New Samsung cabinets installed and wires hanging from the top of the tower....hopefully I will catch someone working on it and see if they can provide info on a time frame and other towers in the area.

Getting closer......anyone know at what point does a site show "In Progress" on the maps?

  5. Has anyone called Sprint to complain about their data being practically unusable in most of Columbus and received a form of credit? We're paying $10 for "advanced data" and can't even obtain solid 3G data.

I am over here in Richmond, IN and went to a business meeting at lunch and had no data. I called Sprint and they said the tower was down and gave me a $10 credit ...

  6. This is great for my Sprint stock, but I was really looking forward to Softbank completing the merger and shaking up the US market with low prices and unlimited data. If Dish succeeds, there will not be any shakeup in the industry......

The SoftBank deal is a CASH infusion to help Sprint pay down debt and increase services....The Dish deal would use all the cash on the balance sheet and add more debt to the already in debt Sprint.
