  1. As those have said before, off the strip isn't bad. That being said, your milage will vary 3G wise around the rest of the valley. I'm currently running a Galaxy Nexus and my 3G varies from Ok to useless depending on where I am. Areas inside the 215 beltway that circles Las Vegas are covered best, especially if you want to rock your OG EVO and WiMAX. I found being on the strip, using WiMAX really helped with data connectivity as it's not oversaturated with users like the 3G airwaves.

  2. I agree with Nazi Dan. Sprint will have at least limited LTE (or El Tí y) in Vegas specifically for CES next January.

I hope you're both right. I work at UNLV (right next to the strip and convention center), which means I'd get some LTE goodness for my Galaxy Nexus at least when I'm working even if the whole Vegas valley isn't lit up with LTE.

  3. I was hoping Vegas would get a little bit of a priority bump because of the CES and CTIA Trade Shows that are here every year. Kinda sucks to announce a new LTE phone and not be able to demo it because the location of the show doesn't have LTE... But I know Sprint has other markets to take care of over Las Vegas where there's a trade show 2 weeks out of the year.
