  2. If you have very high performance LO-E glass in your windows and some other types of high performance glass, then it could. However, very few of us have that kind of very expensive glass in our homes. And then your window openings would have to be pretty large to allow a meaningful amount of RF through.

I think most of your issue is EVO related. It hates to hold low LTE signals.

My 3 year old son was helping me blow the signal in the other night when I first started to get LTE at my house lol. My wife says all this 4G is making me crazy haha. I get roughly -106 to -107 RSRP in my living room right after toggling airplane mode before it switched back to 3G. Didnt think that was all that bad of signal.

  3. Anyone get LTE at the Big E? I had ehprd but no LTE, I think CM10 is still jacked up for LTE. Going to switch back to stock when I go to Westport and Wareham next week.

I also get ehprd at Bradley Airport in CT, and rom doesn't handle it well. I love jelly bean, but CM10 is bugging me.

  4. Just so you know I was driving up 140 when I was able to hold the fairly steady 4G signal. Going from 140 toward 24. I wasn't on any side streets or anything, so there might be more trees in your way or something.

I noticed that the woodsy area right after the cumberland farms gas station on the left side when going toward the dartmouth mall I was not able to pick up 4g, but as soon as i passed the trees it came right back.

Anyway, i also use a program called OpenSignalMaps to cycle through my network when I know i'm in an area that has 4g. Seems to work pretty okay. Although like a few other posters have said, it seems like the EvoLTE sadly has a subpar LTE radio in it :(.

How far up 140 Did it last? I lose it just before 195.

  5. I had that issue in the past depending on what rom ive had running. But this phone on a stock rom i havent lost complete mobile network. Just noticing weird radio issue's with LTE mostly. Dont want to wait till LTE is completely deployed to find out that my EVO is completely unable to hold onto LTE service and then not be able to return it for another LTE phone that actually detects LTE correctly.

Have you had it looked at?

  6. I think that just has to do with the radio on the EVO LTE. i have been curious also why it seems my EVO doesn't automatically change over to LTE and the other phones seem to retain the LTE connection for longer distances from what ive read. Hopefully a firmware update in the future with fix this.

Same problems. Have to restart my phone a lot because it wont reconnect to the mobile network,
