Holy crap, it's fast now.  Did a speed test in Webster and got 22.3 Mbps outside of my Xerox office.

I also saw a good 4G LTE signal near Wegmans in Penfield for the first time, and I did get a weak 4G signal at my home in the Crystal Springs area of Fairport (though very weak, and it jumped back to 3G.)

I was surprised to see 4GLTE on my S4 this morning at Xerox in Webster.  Finally have it someplace on the east side!   Hopefully Fairport is coming soon!

Has anybody seen LTE on the East side (Webster/Penfield/Fairport) yet? 

In Brockport yesterday, I was surprised to see 16.91 Mbps ... fastest I've ever had!

The Sprint app on my S4 has a service notice that the tower I frequently use has started the network vision upgrades.  I live in a dead spot in Fairport and normally have just 1 bar so I have a Airave at my house so I can actually use the phone.  I noticed today when in the neighborhood but away from the Airave I was getting 5 bars of signal.   So something is happening good (I think) in Fairport.

Did I try to say it or did I flat out say it? LOL

 

I stick by my decision to support iOS as the more stable, more intuitive OS.

 

I was actually sick the day service went down so I didn't get the reports until the issue was already resolved.

 

More importantly... No new acceptance reports? Im over this...

You pretty much said anybody buying an Android is an idiot.   Well, you didn't quite say that but I knew you were thinking it.  

Not that its relevant anymore but the Xerox issue was equipment related and not due to Network Vision / Spark.

 

I don't remember who originally brought it up here but I'm interested to know if you know about our store location on Ridge?

Yes, I bought my wife and daughter's iPhones there .. bought my S4 elsewhere, though you tried to say how much better iOS devices are than Android, I prefer Android myself.

I stopped by this week when I had the problem to see if you guys knew about it.

No, surprisingly it didn't cut over to roaming.   Finally came back up after about noon today.   I was hoping to see a 4G at the top of my phone, but alas no.   I have started seeing 4G in a few spots around town, namely Henrietta and in Hyland Park.

*Sigh*.  Day two with no service at Xerox in Webster.   Is there any way to see the list of towers currently undergoing upgrades?  Would it really be down for two days?

It could very well be a result of work going on, why do you doubt that's the case? Work has been happening all over the market lately.

 

Mostly because it was down all day long with absolutely no service (not spotty service, no service at all.)

I've had no service all day at Xerox in Webster, I was hoping some towers were getting upgraded, but I doubt that's it.   (by the way, I can't believe I have no way of reporting an outage on the Sprint web site!)

I didn't get that, and I'm in Fairport.   But looking forward to something better!
