  1. Never been to Hilton Head. I could see the lights from the 1st battalion barracks at Parris Island back in '91 though. Does that count?
  2. No data. everything just times out. I'm showing LTE -100, which isn't great, but usable.
  3. Getting no data in the Northland area this morning. Getting frustrated.
  4. While at the Tim Horton's near Morse and Karl, showing a signal strength of -74, I ran a speed test. 12.30D/6.91U.
  5. This was the magic pill for my Note 2. Thanks. While not perfect, my phone is no longer a paperweight at work for the vast majority of the day.
  6. Went outside, rebooted, updated profile, rebooted and everything worked... for about 4 minutes. Signal still at approximately -85, everything just stopped working. Couldn't check email, Twitter, Facebook or load Words with Friends. Has to be my phone.
  7. I just tried. Signal is too weak to even do that right now. I'll go outside at lunch and try to update that and my PRL. She's due for a new phone next month. She wants the HTC One. Why she insists on HTC is beyond me.
  8. What tower in Hilliard? I can check it out when I head home.
  9. Thanks for the comments guys. I get a laugh as I drive around 270 from 71 to Tuttle and my phone chimes that it is picking up 4G 5-8 times in that span, meaning I'm also losing my signal that frequently. My wife has the HTC EVO 4G LTE and she rarely gets a 4G signal anywhere. She loved being in Orlando in December. She got 4G for two straight weeks. We were at a Darby home football game in November and my phone chimed it was getting a 4G signal. My wife actually hit me. Sitting at my desk at Morse and Karl, I get a signal reading between -108 and -101. It's unusable for about 90% of the day. I was the first to report a 4G signal in this thread several months ago here at work. When I first started getting it, I could watch HBO GO on my phone at my desk without so much as a hiccup. Now I can't get Facebook to load unless I move closer to the elevators or escalators. Maybe my phone is in need of a tune up. But her phone still never gets 4G unless the signal is ridiculously strong.
  10. As 4GLTE is popping up all over the Columbus area there is one question I must ask: What good is 4G if the signal is always so weak its pretty much unusable? Sitting in a parking lot across the street from the tower on Morse Road, I get a signal registering at about -70 on Signal Pro. But when I try to use any of my apps, I get "no internet connection" messages pretty much all the time. Facebook and Twitter timeout and I can't do a simple Google search. I'd rather have a functional 3G signal than a worthless and unusable 4G signal.
  11. I mapped from Avery/Muirfield to 315 on Hayden Run/ Bethel. Not much to add to the map.
  12. I'm going to take the scenic route to work tomorrow. It'll take me through that area. I'll report what I find after my first two meetings (~8:30am)
  13. I have a Galaxy Note 2. It's not rooted
  14. Sensorly showing purple at Bethel and Godown.
  15. No one has said that out loud in over 20 years
  16. That was inside. Outside is likely better
  17. LTE: RSRP: -108dbm (16asu) RSRQ: -11db, SNR: 17.2dB Not going to pretend to know what all that means, but there you go
  18. For some reason, I can't paste to this board. Weird Http://imgur.com/kn874Bo.png Go there.
  19. When I get out of here today, I'll map all the way to Hilliard and see what I get.
  20. Don't jump to conclusions. I never said I didn't know how to post a screen shot or download sensorly (which I have). I said I wasn't going to.
  21. My speed test outside wasn't much better (if at all) than it was inside. 7.94d 2.5u
  22. If it were that easy on this phone, I would. But its not
  23. I'm getting 4G. Thought I'd help relieve some the teeth gnashing on this site. I ran a speed test. Gave you my results. I'm not postiing screen shots. I'm not downloading my PRL to my encrypted work pc. You can believe me or not. I don't care either way
  24. Keep in mind, I'm indoors, surrounded by concrete, PCs and servers. I'll step outside for lunch in about 30 minutes.
