Plus CM will fix lte, it's only a matter of time.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 4 Beta
There is a test build with working LTE on the official XDA thread. The changes it made should be merged any day now.

Not really relevant to your market, but in my market AT&T uses Ericsson RRUs on many of their sites.
Additionally I believe some smaller regional carriers use then as well (pretty sure I saw some for Bluegrass Cellular).

New tower?? Clays Mill/New Circle?
Sptint doesn't have one in that area. Closest to that are Harrodsburg and New Circle; Regency Rd; and Shillito Park.

My personal opinion is, leave the crap up there if it's going to delay you somehow in delivering NV. Then take it down when you get to it. NV 1st!
They are more than likely using a different set of contractors for removal, so it shouldn't affect NV at all.

Does anyone recommend investing in Sprint?
Masayoshi Son does.

2 new towers just popped up on web in Lexington. Someone on that side of town use sensorly...see if they are LIVE!
Just talked to a co-worker near the Blazer Pkwy site, and his phone isn't picking up LTE yet. I'll be driving by on my way home tonight and will be checking it again.
EDIT: Blazer site is live now.

Somebody upload that data to sensorly. I have a feeling something is going on in Lexington. I have been having data outages on Tates Creek rd. near Man O War and Lerado. Earlier by Lerado I was getting up to 2.3 megs download.....I usually get .5 megs at best. Something is happening!!!!
Something is going on in Lexington but not in that specific area yet. Probably just seeing the back-haul upgrades they have done in preparation of the NV work.

Interesting question. I could see them disabling it on Boost and Virgin to further differentiate the Sprint as you Go product.

Awesome, looks like the Wilmore site that was accepted earlier this week is live now.

I got it now thanks.. Another question now that it has been accepted should we expect it to be broadcasting 4G from now on?
Another member, and myself both drove out to check it yesterday. Neither of us picked up an LTE signal from it.

Preferred Roaming List Release: Samsung Note II
On 6/13/13, Sprint released a new Preferred Roaming List (PRL) series 2xxx, for Samsung Note II (SPH-L900) devices only.
- The PRLs are designed to remove access to Sprint's 800 MHz network based on reported issues of the inability to make/receive voice calls and text messages while using this network.
- The new PRL's have been sent out to all the Samsung Note II devices.
- This is a temporary solution until a root cause and fix is found for this device.
- The PRL will continue to allow access to Sprint's 1900 CDMA and roaming partner networks.
-
Customers experiencing problems should be directed to update the PRL via device settings.
- If customer is still experiencing problems with this PRL series, open the appropriate network trouble ticket.

I don't know where to ask. I live in Winchester ky on the sprint nv site it shows the tower less then 2 miles from my house but I only have 1 bar on my iPhone5 and just about everywhere in Winchester I bounce from sprint to extended. The map shows updates to the tower which about 3 months ago it didn't even show we had a tower here. I can see the tower from my place when them leafs are dead it's not a new tower you think it might not be turned on or they just have the wrong location on nv
I assume the nv site your talking about is network.sprint.com
If so, that site doesn't just show NV upgrades, is shows legacy "band-aid" upgrades as well.

Is anyone aware of any sites in the Louisville area that appears to have all the necessary upgrades installed,(cabinets, backhaul, antennas)? I'm currently monitoring sites: [redacted]. I believe all these sites except 1 is in progress. I've been unable to get pictures as of yet. I keep my signal check software running hoping i'll see some LTE suddenly appear as I drive by, or if i'm at work at SDF.
Thanks
Greg
Might want to remove the site IDs outside the sponsor forum.
As for in progress, the site in downtown Shelbyville seems to have all the upgrades done.

Lots of white vans and heavy trucks out this past week, and many with spools of fiber in the back. I don't know if it's all Sprint related but theres a lot of fiber work being done in Danville/Richmond this week.
In the sponsor section of the site I have posted pictures of work going on in Lexington. Confirmed 1 site has Panels, RRUs, and Cabinets installed but not active.
Possible work on at least 2 more sites.

That's SO weird NONE of the towers here are hidden behind a fence like that. It's completely metal
If you're going to be a grammar nazi, at least do it correctly.

eHRPD is live now in the Lexington/Richmond area.
Historically how long is it between eHRPD going live, and LTE sites coming on line?

I'm an indirect dealer, Monday I received a dealer news report directly from Sprint saying EKY was underway. I would post the exact verbiage but it's marked confidential.

Indirect channel is not doing this. We are told to offer the new plans first, but ultimately do whatever the customer wants.
