Fantastic. Thanks!I believe all issues have been resolved.

I'm curious about the MMS and group text (non-iMesssage) issue with Wi-Fi calling. Is this just an issue while you're on wifi, or is it an issue even when off wifi as long as Wi-Fi calling is enabled?
And I assume iMesssage still completely works since that's over data.
Thanks!

If you haven't tried this already, try tweeting @marceloclaure and @sprintcare. They are usually pretty responsive to customer complaints. Hope you get in contact with someone who can fix your problem and restore your sanity ASAP!I am so frustrated with Sprint right now. My 5th bill rolled out since I purchased my iPhone 7 Plus's via the trade up promotion back in Sept. and it still does not have the promised installment billing credits on it. I have called every month since Oct. asking about the credit and every time I'm promised it will show up on the next bill.

And if that doesn't fix the issues, take it to a Genius Bar to get them to troubleshoot and, hopefully, replace it.Have you done a hard reset? A restore? Those are typically surefire ways to fix those kinds of issues.

Trading it in at a store *should* be the most hassle-free way to go. I know family members that traded in at Verizon and Best Buy had zero issues. If trading in at Sprint is a hassle, it is something that really should be fixed.yes but, worth the hassle?

At least we know that regardless of what changes Apple comes up with regarding the home button, us iphools will still be allowed to use our phones on a plane
-
Agreed. Over time, the physical home button would stick, become loose, or just not feel as solid when clicked. This haptic home button is much more consistent and will stand the test of time much better. Once you get used to it, it feels as good or better than the physical button, IMO.No, just the opposite. The physical travel home button is perhaps the only element of an iOS device that feels plastic and cheap.

I had the same problem with a replacement phone from AppleCare. You need to plug it into your computer and activate it through iTunes (edit: I just saw your post that you tried that already. Did you restore the phone as new through iTunes first? Now I'm curious what's going on with your iPhone). The second Sprint store I took the phone to did that and had it activated in five minutes. The first store had no clue. Both were corporate stores. If I actually understood how Sprint's self activation works I might know where to point the finger.
Basically I purchased a Sprint iPhone 7+ direct from Apple.
It arrived 9/26.
After turning off my old phone I powered on the new iP7+ and expected it to just self activate as iPhones usually do. Not so this time. First it asked me if xxx-yyy-zzzz is the phone number of the phone. This was accurate. It then presented be with a screen prompting me to supply my billing ZIP code and SPRINT PIN number. After I entered the info I got an error saying the activation failed.
I will spare you the gory details but for some reason the iPhone wanted the last 4 digits of my SSN instead of my Sprint PIN. This little tidbit took an hour at my Sprint store on the phone with Apple.
So where does this validation process take place? On the phone? On some server backend. If the information is incorrect who's to blame? Weird thing is I don't ever remember giving Apple my SSN. I might have given Sprint it when I first signed up 15 years ago.
From Reddit, Sprint User Forum etc. it seems this doesn't happen with all new Sprint iP7's. I wonder if only those purchased direct from Apple are affected.
Any insight appreciated.

Here's a discussion I found on Reddit about the same issue.

No, I don't think it would apply.Heres the twist though. I ordered it from Apple will these times still apply since I ordered a Sprint iPhone? I ordered mine 9/13 @ 10:13 AM?
-
Sounds like you didn't order before 9/13, is that correct? If so, you'll be in the 2nd wave of shipments for that model. The first wave is shipping out now. I would guess/hope that you'll get your phone next week or the week after that.I got the iPhone 7 Plus 128 GB Black my order says processing but my ETA says Oct 6-12 & my shopping says 2-3 from when I ordered it.
-
What model/color/size?Hey guys, I pre-ordered my phone last Tuesday and it still says processing. The suspense is agonizing and i've been seeing people who've pre-ordered they're phones receive em already. What do you guys think? How long will I be waiting? This is my first Pre-Order lol.
What does your order status say?

That's not bad, but it's pretty incredible that other carriers are giving $400 for a 5. And it is a little surprising that Sprint isn't matching that. My parents are on Verizon, and I made them jump on that deal because they'll be hard pressed to get anything close to that elsewhere. But it is what it is. For me at least, Sprint is still the best overall value when looking at total cost over a multi year timeframe.Sell your phone privately on Swappa and make way more. I just sold a 16GB 5C last night for $140.

According to thisI know it's early but has anyone experience uplink CA yet?
http://m.imore.com/wireless-iphone-7-everything-you-need-know
the iPhone 7 can only do uplink CA on bands 7 and 41.
The iPhone 7 supports 3x CA in the downlink — up to three distinct bands carrying data — and 2x CA in the uplink. Unfortunately, those uplink speeds can only be achieved using a combination of Band 7 and Band 41, which currently precludes all U.S. carriers, since none of them currently operate on Band 7.

You could just pretend that the date is later and reassure yourself that you'll be getting the phone on that imaginary release dateDang I dont like this iPhone launch this year. This will be the first year I didn't get a iPhone on launch date (first world problems lol). I think Apple should have waited for a later launch of the phones like late September if the demand was going to exceed supply this quickly. Everything should level off mid next month I would guess.

I think it depends on when you signed up for iPhone Forever. At release of the 6s, the terms were that you could upgrade whenever the next iPhone was released, regardless of the number of payments you made. I think some time in January they changed the terms to you having to make 12 payments before upgrading.Sprint was being vague on how/if I would be able to upgrade my iPhone 6s Plus to the iPhone 7. I'm already in the iPhone Forever plan and was looking to upgrade.
I got clarification by speaking to another Rep just a few minutes ago. I am able to upgrade if I've made 12 payments on my current iPhone, I'll just have to pay-off the remaining lease balance.
I was confused, because I was told by several agents that I was eligible for upgrade with no penalty and DIDN'T have to pay anything to upgrade. I was even told this by the rep at the Sprint store when I originally signed up for iPhone Forever.
As with anything, the devil is in the details.

So was anyone able to get the free upgrade from 128GB to 256GB? I placed my order at around 4:15 and both the iPhone 7 and 7+ were showing a $100 up charge for the 256GB, so I just ordered the 128GB to be safe.
-
At least last year you could call Telesales to get the iPhone pre-ordered. Looks like they didn't keep Telesales open this year, so we're stuck until the website starts working.
-
According to the following article, Sprint will be selling the 256 GB models for the price of the 128 GB models during preorder "while supplies last": https://9to5mac.com/2016/09/08/sprint-free-iphone-7-promo-preorder-deal/

That's pretty interesting. Wish it would have saved me money (I need at least 64GB storage on my phone), but I guess I'll take the extra free storage instead. Maybe it'll boost resale a little when I sell the phone in 2 years. What would've been even better is if they were offering a free upgrade from 32GB to 128GB, but that would have conflicted with the free 32GB iPhone 7 offers.
Regardless, any deal on an iPhone is a good deal

Too bad Tmobile's unlimited plan is excluded from this offer.

Got a shipping email from Sprint, and my order status has changed to shipped and shows a tracking number. Looks like Sprint is more on top of getting the order status properly updated this year.
-
You ordered online, correct?

I actually ordered through Telesales bc the website wasn't working when preorders first started. First time I ordered through them instead of online.

FYI, I got a UPS My Choice notification that a package from Sprint is scheduled to be delivered on Friday. I ordered an iPhone 6S+ 64GB space grey.
Reports on Reddit, Macrumors, and Sprint Community forums show many other people are starting to get notifications, as well, even though their order stays on the Sprint site hasn't changed. My order status hasn't changed either.

Shipping times have been updated:

I'm hoping those times are for orders placed now and not for those of us that ordered within hours of them going up for preorder. Hating this 2 week wait vs the usual 1 week wait [emoji53]

Id be shocked if you could get the iphone on employee account at launch. EWD and SWAC both are blocked from having iphone 6s.

SERO-P 500 doesn't seem to be blocked.
iPhone 8, 8+, X announced
in Apple/iPhone/iOS

I know this is much too late, but this probably happened because your X was on an older version of iOS than your backup. My X came with 11.0.2 installed but my backup was from 11.1. So I setup my X as new and updated it to 11.1 before restoring the backup from iTunes. Apple should have made this issue much clearer and had steps in place to guide the user through it.
