Well this is no different than the international one x, gs3, gnex etc... that didn't come with lte yet their U.S. carrier branded versions did. I guess its just a wait and see approach but in either case I am sure sprint will have a nexus with lte.
I sure hope you're right

Was it announced that it won't be on sprint ever?
No, but this article makes it seem that way: http://www.theverge.com/2012/10/29/3569688/why-nexus-4-does-not-have-4g-lte

Yeah, I'm pretty disappointed that the Nexus 4 won't be on Sprint EVER. As well as any future Nexus phones it seems..

There's a new tower in Jacksonville, FL. It's about 2 miles from my house!
Here's a screenshot

No, only for unlocked devices. Not sprint's version.
Oh damn, nevermind then

You beat me by 6 minutes! Didn't even see the post.
But you're right, this has certainly come at a bad time.

I think you will be waiting until the Fall then. I don't suspect to find out any details about the Sprint version of the GS3 for a long time.

Dang, I feared this.. Might be pre-ordering the GN then.

Do we have any info on whether or not the gsIII will support 800 LTE? I'm waiting to buy a GN until I find out.

well the phone is 6 months old... should be on amazon $1 deals soon... im all for buying the newest and the greatest phones, but since LTE is in its infancy why buy a phone thats already half way to its EOL, when better phones are right on hte horizon?
Yeah, I'll be waiting on the Amazon deals.
And I wouldn't nearly say the GN is near its EOL. I'll be a solid phone choice for a while at least, especially with it being one of the first to get Jelly Bean when its released.

One of the stories this morning reported on the May 3 event states that the display is set between 4.6 and 4.8". That is pretty close to the 5" Galaxy Note. Maybe the rumors are true that the bezel is way thinner. If so that would be awesome.

I hope it looks similar to this
One thing that would be different would be the inclusion of a physical home button that has been rumored.

Sprint Black Friday deals
in Samsung
Posted
Just came across an article at Engadget showing a Sprint Black Friday ad.
http://www.engadget....galaxy-victory/
You can get a Samsung Galaxy Nexus or a Samsung Galaxy Victory for free (with an eligible upgrade) after a $50 mail-in rebate.
Looks like I'll be replacing my Nexus S 4G with the Galaxy Nexus next Friday!
