  1. Over the last few weeks my note 3 has started to hang when moving between towers. It's not switching from 3G to 4G as easily, and I'm often having t toggle airplane mode. Sometimes it seems to even drop signal completely when traveling in areas without prior trouble.

This is in and out of Durham and North Raleigh.

Anyone having similar issues? Seems to be it started in the last month.

I was in Durham last weekend at Guglhupf and my g2 froze up a few times and calls weren't able to come in or go out.  I just attributed it to a ROM issue, but maybe there's something else?  As for the restaurant... all I can say is 4 out of the 5 people in my party, including me, got violently ill on Sunday.  I'm going to go back to my previous stance on Durham. Just stay away ;)

  2. It is hit or miss.  Where I live (near downtown Cary) 4g is non-existent.  3g gives me 0-1 bar indoors.  Where I work in Cary (US 64 / US 1) I get 3g.   That has improved speed wise.  Between the 2 places, I get 4g only by Trader Joe's on Killdaire.  Now  when I venture over to Atlantic Brew Supply (Over by Meredith College)   for homebrew supplies, I've noticed that right by the fairgrounds is where I pick up 4g and keep it pretty much until I'm on my way back to Cary.  Anywhere from 540 to that area is pretty much 4g with the occasional 3g.  If you have issues in areas I've mentioned, make sure you're on the latest radios for your device that match you android version (if on android).

  3. Depends on what part of Cary.  The closer you get to downtown Cary, the less likely you are to get 4g.  (I don't care what their coverage maps say I'm in "average 4g" area and get 0-1 bars of 3g).  Guess where I live... yup pretty close to downtown.  Also at work (near regency) I have no 4g.  Also I have the same text problem.  It's quite annoying haha,

If you look at sensorly or the NV Complete maps, there's a giant hole of "no upgrades" in cary.  Here's to hoping that gets fixed!

  4. I have been getting 4G off old apex road in between Maynard and West chatam. I stay connected every time I go to my girls apartment. Speed tested around 25 mbps. I also connected to 4G at Los Tres at kildair and Maynard, but only for a few seconds then it went away.

What phone do you have? I only pulled 7mbps down on old apex. Also I drive by los tres magueyes on my way to work. Haven't connected there yet. Anyone know if the galaxy nexus for sprint lacks in 4g picking up ability? haha

  5. Only if they suddenly speed up. They put up Some LTE in the six forks area in December and then down by ten ten and 401 near the end of December and nothing since until you found those two spots.I also noticed that we are back to evdo in a lot of spots as of late.

I'm aware of the 540 and Ten-Ten spots and have been for months. However, about a month before that, I saw ehrpd in the Cary area. About a week or so before the 540 site went live, I went back to Evdo everywhere. Now this morning, I was only able to map the 6 points on old apex rd. However, I see some more points on kildaire and some on the southeast side of Cary that I did not map. The distance of these "blips" to me indicates 3 new LTE towers. Unless they're glitches or something. So 1.5x the towers, to me at least, is speeding up. What can I say, I'm hopeful.
