Band 41 is TDD so it is not 10x10, that would be FDD. Right now Band 41 uses a 20mhz channel and alternates the downlinks and uplinks on the same channel. The downlink has more time slots giveing it faster downloads then uploads.

Why is it that people can't wait to buy a new device to pick up the new band on T-Mobile and than they bitch about how you have to buy a new device to take advantage of sprints bands

Evacuation, ericson figured out how to unload a cell site so they don't need a small cell for capacity at sporting events

Yea brookville, upper brookville and muttontown won't get any better without 800 because there are no cell sites in the area. If you zoom in on the sponsor map you will see about 10 cell sites circling the are. Not sure if it's a town thing or the country club and the rich people living in the area keeping sites from being built.

Quick Question, in future when roaming on lte would u still have the spark icon. Considering it can't differentiate between sprint bands now

That link has the Rom for the Sprint update from October. Installing that 707mb file through a computer would wipe off 4.3 and install 3.17.651.4 with the old file system

I loaded up the Sprint TV app to watch the World Cup Draw today. I was met with a notice that ESPN and Disney would be gone on 1/1/14.

 

Thats a huge loss for me. I don't have cable so the app was of much use to me. I use it for college football and soccer.

 

It's an especially huge loss with the world cup coming up.

 

Anyone know what happened? Did someone else buy up ESPN rights? Is Sprint replacing it with something else?

Does accepted mean complete as in speed? Because my 3g Speeds Are The usual slow sprint crap. If this is the improved network I'm just going to cry. Lol

If you don't mind the traffic lights and had taken sunrise hwy all the way, there would have been constant LTE, southern state parkway still has a few holes

Maby there customer service is better now, dont know, i switch to fios when it was availabe in my area.

About 10 years ago i lost my internet conection I called up and they said the problem wasnt the modem but my line had to many splices, I ran a new line from the main splice direct to the modem and it still didnt work, so i was than able to exchange it at the optimum store

I know the name change was just for there service, its all just smoke and mirrors because they want to get away from the lable "cable company"

I enjoy Optimum's service. Especially that free Internet speed upgrade that DOUBLED my speed. I think that they are actually one of the best when it comes to customer service. They will sit on the phone with you for hours until you fix your internet. If they can't figure it out over the phone, they'll send a technician the next day. I once had a technician get into an accident but they sent another one to my home, on the same day, to get my internet back up and running.

 

They really only renamed their service. The company is CSC Holdings and a lot of their stores still say Cablevision.

 

Anyway, they must be doing something right if they are a major backhaul provider.

Always hated cablevision, they treated you like crap and knew they could because they were the ony provider untill fios came around, maybe thats why they changed there name. No were not the cable company were OPTIMUM your tv, phone and intetnet company

Fios basic is 25/25 i normaly get between 30&35 up and down, for an extra $10 i could get 50/50
