My mom still has 3G issues on her 5 even after doing the update. (issue is where after awhile, OR after a long phone call 3G just freezes up completely and you must toggle the cellular data switch off then back on to make it work again)
This is the very same reason I returned mine 5 days after getting it. there is NO WAY I can stand an issue like that.
Haven't had that issue with mine...must have been the phone itself.

Hey Gab what TV service do you have? Or does anyone know what company that video is using? I love the GUI and it looks light-years ahead of Comcast, lol.
Looks like the Verizon FiOS HD guide. (I'm just going by the channel number and the fact it's NYC.)

That's what I also heard, that on certain Wireless networks the iPhone 4S turns Wi-Fi but I tried changing the wireless channel, protection and some other advance settings but to no avail I have a Asus RT n56U, if you have an iPhone and yours remains on Wi-Fi over 3G what router are you using? This would help me a lot and thanks for your reply and support
Mine doesn't disconnect on standby. My router is a Netgear with DD-WRT installed.

Those are good Speeds. Do all the iPhones have that yellow Sprint logo up top?
No. I'm jailbroken. Just a little tweak.

I spent a day in Albuquerque yesterday (definitely a non NV area). I ran continuous data tests using Root Metrics app. My average speed in 500+ tests was 650kbps. The last time I did a test like this around ABQ, the average was between 350kbps and 400kbps. So on the whole, things have improved.
There were several sites that used to be sub 100kbps that are now between 1.5Mbps and 2.5Mbps. Pleasant surprises. However, there are now new sites that are sub 100kbps. Two steps forward, one step back. But to see progress is encouraging.

I was surprised today to find these speeds during the day. I was going into work and ran a random speedtest. Finally getting to see some progress with the band aid fixes. lol

Seems to me that everyone is having an amazing time with Sprint but me I can't wait to compare results with NV. But for now this is what I am dealing with.
You're not alone.
