  1. Just got a text from Sprint: SprintFreeMsg: Over the next month the new network will be largely completed in your area making it better than ever! http://sprint.us/network1 Reply S to stop Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  2. And there's still a crew at High Street, Lancaster Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  3. It's been 3 or 4 days. Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  4. Just think how few people will be using our shiny new network come spring. It'll be all ours for a couple years! Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  5. My report Talked to the crew working on Main Street in Lancaster. He said 4 NV panels just went up yesterday on the bottom rung and it's "up and running now.". He said a Vietnamese guy usually comes by to inspect though and he said LTE would be on in a few days just like the other crew at High Street in Lancaster. But we all know what that means. I also asked him why they used 4 cabinets when they only set up 4 panels and he said what we thought that it was a busy site. There are 6 roughed in conduit fiber lines but only 4 lines hooked up (3 from one cabinet and 1 from the other). He said they could add capacity later. Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  6. They were working on the bottom rung - you can barely see the two guys but they're in the picture above. The other site in Lancaster (High Street) was getting 4 new NV panels. I saw them close up, laying beautifully on the ground. The panels at Main Street in Lancaster may have already been up before (not sure) but they were working on panels that looked the exact same to me. I did not go up and talk to them and ask. There are 4 cabinets at the Main Street location and the two had no fiber running up the pole when I looked last week (just a few feet of conduit sticking out with duck tape over the ends). Maybe they were running the fiber up the pole. I'll investigate tomorrow.
  7. I'm just glad to see work. I'm in Lancaster quite a bit. Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  8. In the tapatalk app there were no links under the signature. I found it now with Coz's link. Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  9. They're installing RRUs at the High Street location in Lancaster. Talked to one of the guys. He's putting up 4 panels today and said this site would be up and running in 3-4 days. But I've been told that before only to be disappointed. But both main sites in Lancaster are getting RRUs. I also asked the guy why there would be 4 cabinets at the other Lancaster site and he said they must be putting more than 4 panels up. Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  10. . This site has had 2 sets of new cabinets for a while. Just started using tapatalk and this is my first photo! How do I get to the spreadsheet message board? Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  11. West Main Street in Lancaster is getting work - Climbers! Sent from my XT1056 using Tapatalk
  12. Yeah man! Just got LTE there and was going to post it. Now if they'd get to the two main sites in Lancaster...
  13. Chimes! From Marcy Road in Carroll. I don't mess with screen shots.
  14. Craigslist. Found 2 of them for $275 and got this guy down to $250.
  15. When LTE 800 is ready to go I'll be ready to upgrade. But like you said the other day, if the 1900 works well it may not be a huge deal. Plus I'll wait until the tri bands can handle voice and data simultaneously. I had to get rid of the Evo. It wasn't cutting it and moto x users have been very pleased.
  16. So I bought a moto x for $250. I saved my upgrade and over $100 vs a new Nexus. The tri band thing is far from useful. But now in my house I get LTE where my old Evo did not. Besides losing root this phone is great.
  17. So, the only phone that works with band 41 is the G2? The Nexus 5 doesn't work yet but should, correct? So if I'm due for a new phone I'm thinking just wait for the Samsung Galaxy S 5?...
  18. No, that's actually good news. I'm about to upgrade in January. Most of the reviews for the MotoX are great but think I'll be getting the Nexus 5 since it's tri-band. How's the battery?
  19. Well that stinks. I mean I'm happy that LTE is here but it seems like you almost have to be lined up with the panels or you're SOL?! I'm like a mile away - every time I drive by my house I drop the signal as I move directly south of the pole. I get voice and 3g just fine. There's dark purple to my west and east. Hopefully as they tweak the network and work fills in completely it'll be better. Especially the 800 LTE. Question: What kind of speeds do you expect from 800 LTE?? 5mb or so.
  20. So I live right by Pine Hill Golf Course and my phone will pick up LTE if I beg it by going outside and resetting data connection. I'm using CyanogenMod 10.2 ROM so I was wondering if there's a way to have it pick up LTE better/quicker. Thanks
