Hope they announce something but kinda leary on it. I'm thinking after shentel takes over. Hope earlier though.

I wouldn't think they'd do much of anything until the deal closes... But that's just me.

Yes this monday... its been a long day ha. Its probably hd voice for the entire area or something. But thats just my guess. Im just gun shy to say LTE, but hoping.

I have a coworker's son, which works for ntelos, saying something is going down Monday the 18th for sprint subs. That's all he would say though. Ok, been down this path before but I'll bite. Now we wait.

I was cruising sensorly earlier and seen new blip of purple south of Charleston.

One thing I haven't heard much talk about on this thread is HD Voice. Is nTelos even bothering with it or is it unknown? Calls here in Beckley sound pretty nice most of the time it's a noticeable improvement recently.

 

Hd voice was on in ashland for about a week in December. Haven't seen anything else since. It's a big difference in quality.

Not that it's helpful to us sprint users but my buddy has ntelos and picked up lte near Marshall campus in Huntington today.

Just had a thought! What is going to happen to all of the Clearwire protection sites in this area? It would be awesome if they got a full build! Even just band 41 LTE would alleviate some pain, but I guess they'll just shut down completely later this year. Can anyone add to this?

Was wondering about this myself. We have a wimax protection site in my town also.

Yes says hd in upper right hand corner while on a call. I noticed it must be another hd voice capable phone.

Hopefully one of them is U.S. Cellular. Additionally I hope that they announce the first RRPP/CCA networks available for use.

Yes ntelos has been ready forever, I suspect by the end of September all launched ntelos markets will be live for sprint users. Why else would they offer lte in 3 sprint, shentel markets?

That's enough to make my butt hurt. I just can't fathom Sprint allowing that to happen. They should be wearing the pants in this relationship. They are providing nTelos customers with an an entire country full of LTE access.

Agreed. I also believe the agreement will start with the launch of the markets in the article. Judging by the time frames they are giving I'd say im a Q2 2015 at best. Oh well 3G hasnt been bad all year. Around 1Mbps down .7 Mbps up.

Which sprint already covers.

Looks like parkersburg wv is next. Full build of state by 2016. Smh
