Speeds in/near downtown have gotten slower again. I pulled a speedtest a few minutes ago that had 8,400ms latency.

New panels were up when I drove in earlier this morning.Just walked by the site at 1900 grant. There is an MC2 truck on site. Looks like they are finally working on it.

Starting to get weary of a smart phone that is useless anywhere with out wifi. Any news on anything in the Grand Junction area? We've been getting 20kbps for a couple months now, sometimes 100kbps.
The only thing I've heard is things are further along in GJ than in Denver.

You're golden. I'm working on getting that data to the powers that be.
I'm very curious and excited to see how much work has been done in town. I get the impression that anything north of about 285 is plastered with upgraded sites.
-
The two near me (near 19th and Grant) don't look like it but they are pretty difficult to get a look at given their location (top of buildings rather than on the side).
Any lte towers in downtown ready to be turned on ?
-
I called in about not getting calls, but getting voicemail notifications. They said the sites serving Uptown/eastern edge of downtown were seeing higher than usual blocked and dropped rates. They said it had been happening since 9/18.
I've had some issues sending texts lately. Sometimes they take near a minute to show as sent, sometimes it fails to send at all. Hoping it's related to some major work being done in the area. . .
I've run into the same issue in other cities I've been through while they were working on NV.

I drove by 99 Sunday and didn't pick up LTE...it dropped off on the way up to it. Based on my drive (up 6 right from 470 onto 19th, through town on Washington to 93) I think its the site on Mines campus.
I doubt it's the Genesee tower. Terrain between the tower and where the signal was received would preclude that. If it was C099, there should have been a signal a lot further north than just one mile from US-6 & 93 (the tower itself is nearly one mile N of the intersection). I'm banking on C100 or the Mines tower.
-
The range on that Genesee tower is rather short. I'd be very surprised if thats where it was coming from. I wonder if they were testing one of the sites in the area (the one at Mines perhaps)?

Hopefully sensorly comes out with an iOS7 compatible app....I'd be happy to pitch in for the war effort!
Huh. No sensorly data on it. I think we all know how this goes. . . "sensorly or . . ."
See if it's there next time you're through there and for the love of Pete, map that mo-fo.

I was in Golden yesterday and picked up weak LTE near Washington and CO-93. This was probably around 6pm give or take an hour. What time did you pick up LTE?
I was headed home on US6 yesterday and when I came to the intersection with CO-93 in Golden I had full LTE coverage for about a mile north on 93 and then I fell back onto the 3g network.

Two sites ?....Come on
For the record it does sound like BS.

This is the second time I've heard of this (the other instance was on another site), but haven't been able to find a news story about it.
-
Take a picture of one or two of them when they are done. We might be able to figure out which network they belong to.
I was wonfering this myself because I have seen a loy of tower work here in pueblo. Not sure if they are even sprint towers but ive noticed at least 3 or 4 new sites. I even noticed an old enterprise rental sign turned into what looks something like a site.

Sooo, where was the one LTE site accepted this last round? I can't pick it out on the map.
Idaho Springs. Its 4G/3G accepted now.

I figured you guys/gals would appreciate this.
The old Nextel equipment has been completely removed from the Continental Theatre site.

I've spotted numerous upgraded sites that have yet to go live with LTE. If I had to speculate I'd say getting fiber installed may be the lag we are seeing.
-
There are a few posts in the sites in the "report sites in progress" thread. Definitely worth dropping a few dollars to get access to!

This is disappointing to me as I'm in Denver with 2.5ghz LTE available, but very little LTE on other bands.

The tower in woodland park and the one south of woodland park colorado are not 1x800 active yet i drove up there and no 1x800 so im not sure why the map on s4gru says its complete if its not active yet? could someone tell me if im wrong or why is there no 1x800 yet on those two towers
Which PRL do you have on your phone?

xiutehcuhtli: Are you still picking up LTE downtown? I have been trying to pick it up and have yet to and I pass by 17th and Broadway frequently (as in every day twice a day). How many floors up are you when you pick it up and how strong is the signal when you do get it?
-
Which part of downtown? I'm at 18th and Grant and I'm not picking up LTE.

I picked up LTE for a second at the Rockies game last night. I noticed it and almost immediately my phone dropped all the way to 1x. I never picked it up again that night. The signal was pretty weak and I was sitting on the 3B side in the outfield.

If a plumber did that to me I'd find another plumber.
