I live in freedom and my signal is terrible. I lose 3G continuously my husband returned his iPhone 5 before his 30 days was up. Does Seymour have 3G? I was there in Seymour last Thursday and no 4g
My hunch is that there's a ton of work going on behind the scenes. In Green Bay, we had 4g for like 10 minutes, I'm losing 3g a lit in areas that used to have strong signal. I'm assuming that this is good news.

Does anyone out there have any news for Appleton / Fox valley? We get little to no data, a lot of dropped calls and pushed to the extended network. I'm trying to hold out but after the storms the other day and really needing data I think for safety as well as fun reasons I might pay the ETL and go with Verizon. If you reply thanks
Yeah, I with you that the wait is frustrating, especially since we're seeing much smaller cities starting to light up. I live in Green Bay but work in Appleton so I'm interested both markets.
I think the good news is that we're starting to see more spots light up closer to us. For example, both 10 minutes East and West of Green Bay are really lighting up. Closer to Appleton, Freedom is starting to light up as well so I'm sure it will start to spread.

It's been almost 2 weeks since I picked up some 4G in Green Bay but it hasn't come back since then. I wonder what's going on or what this means...
-
So I drove by that little area in Green Bay that picked up 4G last week, and while it didn't say "4G" this morning, I did a speed test and picked up what would be record 3G speeds for me. I clocked 1.5mb. Never seen that in Green Bay, usually I average between .3 and .7 mb. Kind of interesting....

Same spot. Just before the exit for Oneida street. Had LTE Discovery running on the phone and it picked it up. Went back Friday and my phone automatically switched to 4g LTE and I tried to do a speed test but was out of range too fast. Went driving on side streets Saturday but could not find a signal. Hopefully that means good things are coming sooner then later.
Exactly. Good to know that at it at least confirms that work has been done, now it's all about the sites going live!
-
I can confirm that. Thursday and Friday I got a LTE signal went back Saturday afternoon and got nothing. Still has to be good news!
Nice. Did you get it in the same spot or somewhere else in town?
-
And to update my last post, the same spot on the hwy 172 bridge in Green Bay went to no data and then 1x where I would normally get a normal 3g signal.
-
Looks like a step back before taking a step forward in Green Bay. The one spot of 4g I was able to pick up on hwy 172 hasn't broadcasted again since finding it last week. Hopefully this is a sign off things to come.

Good news for Green Bay finally! I briefly picked up 4g for about a 1/4 to 1/2 a mile on the 172 bridge. I didn't get a chance to map it but I'll try to on my way home if it's still up!

Kind of off topic but I donated earlier today. When do you think I'll have access to the sponsor forum?

If you become a sponsor, you get access to the maps that show the completed sites.
Nice! I was only able to afford a donation of $10 at this time, but I look forward to checking out these maps!

I saw that too so that must mean the Oneida tower is broadcasting. There is also a new 3G/4G complete tower in Seymour as of yesterday or today.
Nice! How did you get the info that there's a new tower? Just wondering how I would go about finding this info for Green Bay and Appleton.
-
Looks like a Sensorly is showing a spot near Oneida on the map now. This is great to see. Hopefully this is one of many spots that will start to pop up soon.

The Milwaukee market is supposed to be 75% done by October. The rest of Wisconsin should be close to the same plan. That isn't for sure though.
That's great to hear! At this point, I'll be happy if Green Bay is 25% done by October. Haha!

Getting absolutely awful 3g speeds and reception today in Green Bay. I wonder of some work is being done today.

Ah...sounds like a mass teaser text then, basically letting you know it's coming.
They could have at least said "Haha Green Bay, you're last!"
-
So I just got a text from Sprint that says "Green Bay, we're building a new network along with some info about how it will affect us".
Does this mean what I think it may mean!?!?!?!?!?!

Data problems today and choppy voice yesterday.

I actually experienced this in Green Bay yesterday and got excited. Lol. We'll see I guess.

Nice! Hoping some of that will come my way in Milwaukee!
In Green Bay and I hear you. It's tough seeing some small cities getting it before us. Lol.
Oh well. It must mean we're close.

Nice! Hopefully spots continue to pop up near and in Green Bay.
I have seen 2 towers along highway 54 east of Green Bay putting out an LTE signal on and off, but so far it looks like I get kicked off it shortly after, so it is probably still being tested.
Hmm, a Kewaunee, WI tower has recently been listed as 4G complete - so I suppose it is possible I was getting 1XRTT off those towers and LTE off the Kewaunee tower. I'm not sure how to tell that in the SignalCheck app.
P.S. The towers I've been getting signs of upgrade from are identified on sponsor maps as MLXXXXXXX and MLXXXXXXX. I haven't gotten around to trying to take a picture to post to the in progress threads.

Tell the towers to make their way east to Green Bay. Lol!

I see they were working all day all over town on fiber. Not even a single tower was started here yet.
Cool. What town is this? And what do you mean by fiber?

The whole market is under deployment. Including Green Bay. The guy at Sprint may be talking about market launch for Green Bay. Which may be at the end of the year.

Thank you. So I'm guessing Deployment means that we may start seeing some towers pop up and may be connecting to LTE soon where Market Launch is basically the final stage where Sprint can say that the majority of that Market has LTE?

That's awesome! I would think that's a good sign.
