  1. I am also getting it in Olathe/Overland Park. Ran some speedtests and signal strength was low. So just imagine when all towers in the area get it.

  2. HAHAHAHA Yeah right! One would think so, but unfortunately our area has had horrible service and still is lacking compared to the others. 4G is a joke around here. I used to work across the street from the Sprint HQ. I could literally see it out my window. No bars. At that time I had ATT and was fine but in that same building they still can't get more then one bar of 4g. 3G is better now but still kinda sad.

To say I am really hoping the network upgrades can turn sprint around would be an understatement.

One would think going by sprint HQ they would have decent 3g speeds but not really. Whenever I'm over there I do a speed test and the results are sub 500.

I work in Olathe and the speeds for the past couple of months have been up and down. It would be kind of nice to know what clusters will be turned on first in the KC area. I live on the MO side near the stateline and at my house I still get no service.

  3. When they do work at a tower is there a certain sequence that it will be done. Just curious, because when I was driving to the airport today (I live in KC) I noticed several towers that had the radio behind the antenna, but there was an antenna right next to it without a radio directly behind it.

I remember from the Lawrence drawings this looked like the case like it was done in phases. So my guess these towers are ready they just have to turn on the new antennas and remove the old, or am I completely missing the mark.

  4. I have never really understood the need to place caps on data. You are still having the same amount of users access the data at peak times regardless of the cap because generally people will use data at the most convenient time for them (afternoon/evening for most people). Maybe I just don't understand all the technical aspects of it.

Keeping my fingers crossed that they keep unlimited data
