    LTE IS LIVE!

I am also getting it in Olathe/Overland Park. Ran some speedtests and signal strength was low. So just imagine when all towers in the area get it.
  2. Yep. 7.71 Mbps down 3.42 Mbps up. 107 dbm. Will post screenshots when I get home.
  3. I was able to pick it up for about 10 mins today. I work at 119th and Renner in Olathe. I had to cycle between cdma only then back to cdma/lte for it to pick it up. Can't wait for it to be on full time.
  4. Does anyone know when the galaxy nexus will be available for wireless advantage club plan holders? Thanks!
  5. I have it integrated but I only use it for Voice mails and to send texts. My bill each month shows I sent zero texts.
  6. This is from a tower near where I work. Network vision equipment is on it but not sure it has been turned on as the old antenna panels are still there. I was about 1000 ft from the tower.
  7. One would think going by sprint HQ they would have decent 3g speeds but not really. Whenever I'm over there I do a speed test and the results are sub 500. I work in Olathe and the speeds for the past couple of months have been up and down. It would be kind of nice to know what clusters will be turned on first in the KC area. I live on the MO side near the stateline and at my house I still get no service.
  8. Appreciate all the info. I'm getting excited for NV in the KC area. Look forward to your article.
  9. When they do work at a tower is there a certain sequence that it will be done. Just curious, because when I was driving to the airport today (I live in KC) I noticed several towers that had the radio behind the antenna, but there was an antenna right next to it without a radio directly behind it. I remember from the Lawrence drawings this looked like the case like it was done in phases. So my guess these towers are ready they just have to turn on the new antennas and remove the old, or am I completely missing the mark.
  10. My understanding is that 1x Advanced is the evolution of the 1xRTT standard. So data is possible and I remember reading somewhere that it can go 3x that of 1xRTT depending on how the voice portion is configured.
  11. I have never really understood the need to place caps on data. You are still having the same amount of users access the data at peak times regardless of the cap because generally people will use data at the most convenient time for them (afternoon/evening for most people). Maybe I just don't understand all the technical aspects of it. Keeping my fingers crossed that they keep unlimited data
  12. I know its not quad core, but I would be intrigued by a phone with qualcomms MSM8960. 28mm process and modem on die should really help with battery power. And if I'm not mistaken it can also hand TD-LTE.
