  1. The LTE that was saying Sprint in SignalCheck, now it says nTelos as of Saturday. I guess the rest of the tower info stayed the same because my notes are still the same in SignalCheck. I wonder why they would change it to nTelos?
  2. 3 weeks later still experiencing horrible LTE coverage in Martinsville area. I think they only cut on 2 towers for the entire area. Unless you're on a high hill, we only get one lil dot of LTE. Do they usually just turn on one or two locations for a few weeks? Surely it'll be better than this
  3. LTE lit up in Martinsville today, just one location. Drops in Collinsville back to 3G. Band 25 - says Sprint, goes back to Ntelos when on 3G.
  4. Still no LTE in the Martinsville, VA area. Danville's started working about 3 weeks ago I noticed.
  5. Well, the map has never showed spillover in my town. Collinsville is a 20 min drive to NC border.
  6. Nah.. Ridgeway VA maybe but we are to far away from the NC line for that. This is new for the coverage maps, i check them pretty often.
  7. Just noticed the sprint coverage maps now show LTE in Martinsville, Collinsville & Danville VA. My Sprint Note4 is unable to connect to it though.
  8. An employee called my sprint phone from her Ntelos phone at 8:30pm and we both had HD calling. I had spoke to her 2 hours earlier and we didn't so I guess they just turned that on in the Martinsville/Collinsville area tonight. The BSL address started showing on the towers here recently to.
  9. We had HD calling back in December for about a week then it disappeared. Just came back today. Hopefully a good sign
  10. HD voice calling turned on today in the Martinsville area...

  12. I'm sure there is no chance that Ntelos/Sprint users will be able to use this new Fixed LTE service that Ntelos is rolling out in the Roanoke, VA region but it never hurts to ask .. Is this going to be strictly for home computer use or do ya'll think the cell phones will benefit from this fixed wireless w/ Dish Network? http://www,.telecompetitor.com/ntelos-fixed-wireless-expansion-planned-extending-dish-agreement/
  13. Sprint rep today told me they would announce the LTE release date for Southwest Virginia next month. Hope he was telling the truth!
  14. That's why I gave Sprint my zip in the above tweets because I had a feeling they would confuse Martinsville VA with Martinsburg, WV
  15. Martinsville is in Virginia nowhere near Martinsburg WV. We're above Greensboro NC
  16. Sent a tweet to Sprint today regarding the Ntelos towers here in Martinsville switching from EV-DO to eHRPD with no data and the reps told me they were recently upgraded with LTE but it has not been turned on yet (see tweets below). I wonder if this is true because Sprint has always told me they couldn't see any of the Ntelos tower info like they could their own.
  17. I'm going to keep an eye on it. I wish Ntelos would make some kind of announcement regarding their future LTE locations but anytime I ask nobody knows anything about it.
  18. Yesterday I had no 3G data for a minute on my phone while in Martinsville so I ran the Signal Check app and noticed that I was on eHRPD instead of the usual EV-DO that I always see in Ntelos areas on Sprint. I remember reading somewhere that this could indicate LTE coming soon because eHRPD was needed to make the data seamlessly handoff? What do ya'll think?
