First video
At about 7:50 you can see the tower number written on the panel: LR54XC441
Whoever rigged that antenna and sent it up was a complete greenhand/tool..
Channny's are the TH's #1 tool on the tower
No non autolocking beaners
I didn't see anyone playing rough with the jumpers..( they are pretty tough if you know what you're doing)
-
Fyi remote techs who don't work in overlapping coverage areas wouldn't have service if the primary carrier they worked for, site was down and they where say working on it... so...it's advantageous to have another carrier's phone in your truck..
just saying...

who's your buddy?

xcel towers are a nightmare
-
I pay a national carrier for the ability to roam.... jumping through hoops is not in my contract
-
I see people still think they put cellular towers up all willy nilly..
your going to need about 250k for the tower alone
-
I'll try the data trick if I have more issues ( this is complete bullshit )

I'm more worried about planet X those lizard men worry me...

Yes, From what I hear Ericsson just built a few new NASCOWS
-
No, seriously, the three beeps followed by an automatic disconnect and reacquisition of the network is what *18 is designed to do. It has long since served little purpose with seamless automatic roaming. But it does force a new registration.
AJ
I'll try it shortly

You just registered your account for NSA monitoring.

I've set up the CALEA monitoring in a few markets . I'm honestly surprised the term has not been brought up in the media/congressional hearings

ooh, it gives me a dialtone.. my phone has no touchtone.

I have the same problem also sometimes while roaming. Best I can think of is that the tower is nearing voice capacity and being shuffled to a low priority. Seems I have the problem the worst late afternoon/early evening on Friday's which I am at work in a roaming area. Which is generally a busy call time.
Rural sites don't get jammed up let alone in the middle of the night..
i know it used to be if you were using data at all while roaming (1x) a call could not come in because the phone was in a data session. EVDO fixed that. Possibly that is it?
Possible, my phone is constantly updating something i'll try it if i have coverage issues tonight. that may cause issues with my secondary trigger, voice mails coming in.
Seen that before on roaming. Just for kicks try turning off data to make sure. It is probably the roaming partner though. When the device was on metro PCS incoming wouldn't work. When it was on VZW it would take incoming calls.
What SID are you on while roaming?
Who knows, I'm pretty sure most of the time I roam off the US Cellular tower I'm working on. ( multiples each night) but, sometimes the signal is too low to be the same tower so there must be some sort of roam priority, can't say any one of them gives me my incoming.
-
P.s. I can receive incoming calls if I'm already on the phone and click over that's been my work around. Go hop on a bridge and wait.

Has anyone had this issue?
Galaxy note 2
So far I've tried
new prl

##786xx# DO NOT DO THIS WHILE ROAMING FOR THE LOVE OF GOD I"M GOING TO KILL SOMEONE!
I don't know what else to do I know most of the time I'm roaming on uscc but I'm not sure all the time.
Sure is annoying trying to take calls from India so I can integrate these sites

As Promised...
The last two pictures are of a tower right off 694 & Victoria. Looks like Centurylink laid some fresh fiber right to the sprint cabinets. I drive by this tower just about every day going to work - so I'll for sure keep you guys posted.
The first two pictures are of the 4G tower that covers 694 right off HWY 61 in Vadnais Heights. I didn't know which antennae's were sprints (still learning on that ) But I took some pictures regardless.
Finally, here's a few speed tests I took as well
Vadnais Heights 4G:
.
694 & Victoria 3G:
Hope you guys enjoy these pictures
The bottom set of hexport ANTENNAS.. don't get yourself caught up calling them panels..

Wow, that's nice of them to give dispatch a heads up we just start calling and ask if they are busy. shouldn't be an issue all those sectors should route to scott anyways the ones with issues are when you have a site that serves 2 counties
-
if you pause and then right click it gives you an option to copy to this time... no sites needed

how do i get the player window to post?

Hmm...Clearwire was not a major deployment? I'll be damned.
-
Sprint is not samsungs first us deployment. . Clearwire has lots of samsung gear deployed. .
-
Just to be clear this was a contractor that had and incident pulling the carrier into it should be avoided. Its the reason for turf vendor's and contractors.
