  1. Techsmurf, what number on the engineering screen are you looking to to ID the sites? I just cruised around town and took some screens shots. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk

Serving cell. Each site has one per sector 169 apart. I.e. 32/4th you got 19 for sector 1. Sector 2 is 188 (19+169), 3 is 357 (188+169). Gotta admit I like the hex ids better, but complete data is still preferred and I'm personally stuck with the Samsung version.

  2. One of my friends just texted me saying that he's getting LTE in Nogales!

I believe someone on this board is from Nogales/Rio Rico so they should probably get to mapping!!

Sensorly or it didn't happen. ;)

Btw, there's lte in Bisbee of all places now per sensorly.

  3. Here's a screenshot of the LTE engineering screen. I'm near the Riley site.

    Lateck,

Awesome! That's the first physical ID I have for anything in Yuma, though, so I couldn't use it to confirm a new site broadcasting. I need engineering screens from a Samsung device for the other 4 too. Hypeo has submitted a unique hex id for that site, though, so we do know it's up and running.

  4. 1st and Glenn

With this I can confirm the earlier posted ID for river/alvernon is different. Thanks :)

BTW, SignalCheck has a GCI field on HTC devices, it seems. This is all I'm looking for. You don't really need to dig into engineering if SignalCheck is displaying it :)

  5. I completely understand but at home I don't use that much data, aside from last night. At work our WiFi is locked down and most apps I use don't work right so WiFi is not a reliable option.

Sad truth. Most workplaces don't have a cool IT manager who sets up a separate virtual guest wifi network for employees to use for their personal devices... Now if only my employees would realize I'm still not going to let them look at porn at work...

Sadly I can't do much with this data yet, since we still don't have hex IDs for 1st/Glenn

I can also go to river and Alvernon tomorrow if any more info is needed. (another engineering screen?)

TechSmurf, I got you. Just turned off mapping on my phone. Wish I could do more to help...sorry for messing with the maps!

Yes, we still need samsung serving cell IDs for River/Alvernon.

  7. Good stuff, Jeff! :)

I've got a small to-do list still running if anyone's bored:

Tucson HTC/LG/iPhone folks: We've only got hex IDs for the new tower at OG/Oracle. If you're bored I could use 'em for the rest.

Tucson Samsung/iPhone folks: We don't have confirmed serving cell IDs for that new tower, Park/18th, or the one in Drexel.

Yuma Samsung/iPhone folks: We've got hex IDs for everything, but we don't have serving cell IDs for anything. Not a big deal if Hypeo is going to be the only person handling this...

Southeast AZ folks: I hope people are running Sensorly in Santa Cruz and Cochise County. :P
