Yes! But data is working normally. So.....unsure.
Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
I turned off WiFi and then rebooted, I haven't had the error for about 2 hours. I'll wait and see.
Edit: The error came back with WiFi off.

Has anybody else been getting "Unable to establish a wireless data connection" LTE: ESM-31 EMM-x" error?...randomly ?...I've called support and they did the normal profile update/ factory reset procedures.

I do remember Sprint "for a lack of a better word" downgrading the PRL on the Note 2 because of incompatibilities with band class 10 ??.. I could be wrong though.
-
I think the "reception" is good to be honest, it's pretty close to an Apple 6s. It doesn't cling to band 41 like the Note 5 "did" when it first came out though. My experiences are......
1. The Note 7 finds LTE sooner than the Note 5, but it also drops it just a hair quicker too.
2. I think 3G is a lot better/stronger on the Note 7
3. Switches between LTE and 3G a lot quicker than the Note 5.

I guess college town could be the reason, maybe they'll wait until summer when the college is closed. Sprint is on top of the watertower by Mankato Ford, towers by Bethany College, MSU, downtown south and west of the
Verizon building, tower by the McDonald's on hwy 169/14 and two in North Mankato.
-
I was at BestBuy Wednesday and got around 8mbps. I'm shocked they don't have band 41 up and running in Mankato. I live in Waseca, which is about 23 miles east of Mankato and we've had band 41 and channel aggregation for a year.

Do you activate over WiFi ?. I usually don't enable WiFi until i remove all the apps i don't need, otherwise it starts downloading them as soon as you get to your home screen.
-
Same version I got at XDA, it's a nice build...no changes in signal so far.
-
It looks official, I used Odin and the tar file, and it didn't trip Knox, but this process will erase everything. If you take the OTA update, you shouldn't lose your data. Boot up animations are better looking, It says LTE plus, more spectrum, better network. Still downloading updates for the apps.

It does pretty good.

8.4 Beta 2 is out, and if you accept it OTA, your music library disappears. FYI.
Go into settings, then music, then select "Show all Music". That should fix it

Strange problem since upgrade to IOS 8.3 and the system upgrade from sprint: I live a Chicago suburb and most of my calls are local, but since upgrade on Sprint.com all my outgoing calls are being shown as random numbers in New Orleans. At first I was worried that my number was spoofed, but the outgoing numbers and time of calls all correspond to the area 847 calls I have made. the rep called 2 supervisors who really had no clue, but suggested I take my Iphone 6 to a service center (the outgoing calls shown on my phone and the calls themselves are all correct). but now my wife's Iphone 5S upgraded at the same time also showing the New Orleans random numbers, so I suspect a computer glitch! anyone else with the same problem, or am I crazy (I could be).

Try turning off WiFi calling on your account. That helped me.

I can confirm it, WiFi calling is available with Carrier 19.1 and ios 8.3 final

PRL's do not change anything that have to do with LTE band priorities or LTE band switching. What is more than likely happening is when these 'PRL Updates' are released, Apple/Sprint are probably releasing some kind of update to the carrier package also and that update effects LTE band priorities/switching. That is most likely what is occurring. The PRL is just the public thing that we can see that is changing.

At least I have 800 voice now, and the PRL does affect that. My daughter's iPhone 5S has a different prl now too.
-
Exactly. These phones are skipping right over band 26, and Sprint needs to fix that immediately. The less the average person sees "3G" on their phone, the better Sprint's reputation will be.
Sent from my iPhone 6+
I know the PRL doesn't affect LTE switching, but something is going on. It may be Carrier 19 + 55023 PRL. Whatever it is, please don't change anything... haha

Do explain. What are you seeing? Less 3G and more band 26? I'm in an email conversation currently with Sprint executives and network engineers trying to get to the bottom of this.
Sent from my iPhone 6+example: Driving into town I always had 3G and 5 minutes later when i got home it would switch to 4G. that was fine, but now now it detects 4G more often than and 3G on my way home. One thing I've noticed on the OLD PRL is that I would be on band 41/25, enter a building it would drop to 3G, and then about 5 minutes later it would switch to band 26.

I don't know, maybe give it some time, and try it later. ??

I'm on the same beta you are on. Is it public or developer.

I'm not sure. I can never find an accurate answer to whether or not a PRL controls LTE band switching. And yes, I've read our article on PRLs. I think the instant band switching was lost when we went from carrier 17.0 to 18.0 with one of the iOS releases.

FYI 8.3 beta 4 uses Carrier 19.0. It's a lot quicker/smoother changing bands now. I'm just happy "I finally" have 800 voice.
-
When did they release that PRL I'm still on 51105
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It must have been yesterday or today. I'm on 8.3 beta 4 and with this PRL, the voice RF is outstanding. I've had this phone for a month and this is the first time I've been on 800 voice. I'm in an area where it can be about 13 -25 miles between towers.
-
Looks Sprint is re-provisioning the iPhone 6 to PRL 55023. I get band class 10 now. 2-3 bars and I can make calls in my basement. :-)

Well the issue is that I am on public beta. So without the public beta IPSW to restore from, I can't restore my iCloud back up. All of my back ups are in 8.3 beta, none in 8.2...which pisses me off.
I have a call with beta support at 6 and hopefully they can give me the IPSW. I could probably find it online but I prefer to be careful with beta so I don't brick my phone.
Have you been having good luck with 8.3 Beta 4 ?

I have an S8+ and it's a nice phone, "standby time" is excellent. On a full charge just before bedtime and 9 hours later the battery is still at 100% (I'm hardly even using it). Unfortunately, I had to switch carriers because of my daughters, one is working and the other is going to start college where Sprint doesn't have good coverage, that's the only reason. The town where I live, Sprint is faster than Verizon.
This has around 45 mins screen time
