  1. ^ That is true. Look at the HTC One X, the Sprint version is so much better, so I wouldn't doubt it.

Well I frankly can't wait, :( so tomorrow I am going to the AT&T store and check out this hermaphrodite device :o and decide whether to get it in white or black, Then head back to the office and order it on Amazon (at a cheaper price)..

What I don't know is how the porting of a number works. I have 4 devices on my account and one of them will be given up for this phone, Don't know if porting the number to AT&T would mess up something on the account or any of the other lines.

    TS

It will only affect that lines contract, if there is one, if there isn't you are golden. Just make sure you have all the account details. Once the transfer goes through you can double check your Sprint plan to make sure nothing weird happened

  2. So theres an actual physical card then in there no matter what? Why can't it just be the way it is now? Where does it state they have to add a "UCCID card" to the phone?

Can't they just keep it all the same and not use any additional cards? and go off the MEID/ESN/IMEI...?

I think LTE uses a card because it is technically a GSM technology. I could be way off though LOL

  3. dunno if you meant to quote me b/c i wasn't arguing against that at all...lol

the GPU int he T3 is superior though. the rest is a toss up at times and can vary greatly depending on how the chip is tuned exactly...big S4 fan here, pretty much everyone here will confirm that. lol

No, actually meant to quote the post above you from Robert. I don't know what happened lol

  4. tough to do quad when none are out.....this chip hangs with the tegra3 so its not all about # of cores its the whole architecture used and SoC itself...

S4 28nm Quad MIGHT be out for next EVO next year.....its possible, but the thing would need to be sampling end of this year early next for that to be possible i think...

The current Dual-core S4 out performs the Tegra 3. Cores aren't everything. Tegra uses an older A9 architecture, while the S4 uses A15.

  5. Well, just read the specs of the HTC X.

1800 mAh non-removeable battery and no SD slot. Utter fail on HTC's part.

According to Chris Chavez, who works for Phandroid, Sprint's version will have an SD slot and kickstand.

  6. I still think that Sprint will release the Galaxy Note around the end of May/June only because historically for the last few years (5 to be exact) the months in which Sprint deploys phones has been May/June and Sept/Oct. Although I wouldn't doubt April would be a good month to deploy it. But as mentioned above, it may cut into the Nexus profits, so I figure April for Nexus and May/June for Note.

This should also fall in line with the 1st round of Network Vision being up and running in some areas (as per s4gru) ;)

If you are looking at it that way, then it will most likely be May since June has been the EVOs month.

  7. I'm a day late to finding out about this contest? :(

The contest runs until April 5 & the drawing is being held on the 16th of the same month. Seems like the release date should be right around then

My bet is April 15th. That's the day after all the upgrade promotions end.

  8. Let's say...Note with LTE. Release in early April. And I will pay big bucks.

If they wait until the end of summer...too late. GSIII will be out in many places around the world, and the Note will have antiquated specs. They really gotta get this thing out fast to make it work.

Completely agree, April also fits perfectly with a 2 month exclusive ATT would have had with the device. Perhaps April 15th?
