  1. Almost everyone around me has Verizon or AT&T. I have Sprint and get weird looks when I ask them about their cell phone or something. It's almost like if you don't have Verizon or AT&T you're an outcast but it is what it is haha.

Funny thing is, is that everyone asks me if I have unlimited data and I smile and say, "Yes I do!" knowing that they are stuck with 2Gb plan or whatever.

But seriously, I CANNOT WAIT for the 800 MHz to roll out in my area because I'm stuck with 1 bar of 3G , while Verizon and AT&T have at least 3 bars of LTE (iPhone).

  2. At 5pm I got a 4G signal in Nashua, NH. I was at the mall in front of Dicks Sporting Goods. Ran a few tests and got above 10 Mbps download and about 6.50 Mbps upload. I have screenshots but I don't know how to post them. Under status in the settings menu were LTE: 14, Signal Strength -88dBm. Kicked me off to 3G for a moment but connected again the next minute.

  3. Keep in mind that, if I had called them prior they likely wouldn't have told me they had it. The clerk, herself, wasn't aware they carried it until I told her I wanted it =p

Good point. I will take a trip up to my local walmart sometime today.
  4. My evo 4g (Not the new one) would get really hot when I would run heavy apps for 20 or more minutes. It's be normal for it to get a little hot. I would worry if it was hot all the time.

  5. Thinking about picking up the Evo 4G LTE as soon as Best Buy or a local Sprint store has them. Is this something to worry about? or is this a minor problem?

  6. Correct me if I'm wrong but I was on the Sprint facebook page and saw a comment posted by Sprint. Comment says "There is a major outage affecting many markets in Texas. We are currently working diligently on fixing the issue. --Chris" Network Vision is primarily taking place in Texas and is there a problem? Just curious

    Thanks, Chris

  7. Title says it all and I can now report that I'm seeing an increase of a bar or two where I would see 1-2 out of 4. I am getting 1.5 to 1.7 Mbps on average with ping times of about 100 ms. Overall Network Vision proves that it comes with enhanced speeds and signal strength. Very excited to get my HTC Evo 4G LTE on the 18th as well so everything keeps getting better!
