i've been getting a bit of off and on connection in the townhouses on commerce in eado.
saturday saw 2237 - 4464kbps down and 735 - 2407kbps up
ran a speedtest on sunday and it was 768kbps down 228kbps up. =O
then it switched back to evdo and up and down basically swapped with their lte counterparts to 336kbps down and 744kbps up.
i thought verizon and att speeds were like in the tens of thousands and sprint was using even newer/faster lte-advanced or some bolonga?
i hope our service gets WAY better than this but of course that was the running hope that this lte network was supposed to address. i was almost expecting it to be close to as good as it's going to get from the get-go because more people eventually buy the new devices and start using the network over time. all i have to do is look at sprint's current state of 3g at peak usage times (~10kpbs nonsense) and remember how much faster my old htc hero could zip around on those waves a few years ago.
