  1. They better listen, because airlines have been given the ok to deny boarding to anyone who has one and or till they give up the phone to someone who is not flying. Airlines will not ship or return the phone if given. Will be treated as Hazmat.

I bet TSA is going through luggage, searching for Note 7s after it's been checked in.

  3. Currently in NE Georgia on VZW EVDO. First time having successful VZW EVDO roaming.

I've been roaming on Verizon EVDO a lot at this fishing lake I go to in Escondido, CA since middle June. There's also a stealth tree Verizon tower (labeled Verizon on gate) on the opposite of the parking lot. Early June, and way before, I'd go there sitting on 1x, then noticed one day at a Catfish derby I was in, SCP was showing Verizon EVDO solid green. First time ever I was able to browse online at that location, including being in the boat.

  4. Then you still have owners of the Note 7, refusing to return theirs as if nothing will happen, from the many comments I've read. It's like me driving my car with braking system recalls, but since I enjoy the car so much, I'll continue driving it assuming nothing will happen on the road.

  5. I tried using a Blackberry Priv with a stylus once, and it was quite odd navigating around the curves with the stylus. I imagine it takes a bit of a learning curve to get adjusted to the curves on the Note 7, which at least are more minimal than on the Edge devices and probably even the Priv, which has pretty steep curves at the sides of the screen.

When I first read about it having the curve, I was hoping Samsung would have another without the curve, for customers that don't prefer the curve.

  6. Can anyone of you share pics of your Note 7 in a case, with screen protector? I seen someone a couple of days ago at the grocery store with the S7 Edge in a UAG case, and noticed the phone was pretty well protected at top and bottom, but the edges on both sides of the phone was sticking out, not fully protected.

  7. Yes indeed! Even though I don't have the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 nor am I currently planning on getting it since I'm waiting for the release of the LG V20, I still have interest in the device just in case the LG V20 doesn't work out for me.

Hopefully those issues some people are experiencing while using the Note 7, improve. Having issues using wireless devices never is good. I certainly have had a large amount of issues using them which certainly I know how frustrating it is.

I don't have the Note 7 either. Something about that curve that's keeping me away, meaning getting accustomed to it, especially being so use to flat screens for many years. As for early issues users are having, I wonder if that's always the case when phones first come out, compared to users that get it a couple months later, and rarely have issues.

  8. half a day with the note 7 so far, sitting in the same spot i've been in all week for this particular location it seem the note 7 was slightly better.. sitting at -99/98 dBm where the note 5 was in the -100ish range.  I don't have 2 lines avaliable for me to do side by side unfortunately

Any, and all feedback is great!

  9. Played with a Note 7 today, watched a couple of YouTube clips on it. The videos occupied the whole screen from edge to edge. I'm going from a Note 4 to this phone. The Note 7 felt a lot better in hand over the Note 4, also the curved screen is subtle.

If you want to see it in person Best Buy with the Samsung kiosk have them in stock now. Its the Verizon model so far from the few stores I've been to, and Black, and Silver models no blue one.

There's a Best Buy near my work. I'll go check it out.

  10. While I'm not thrilled either, it appears that they've lessened the curved part.  If you watch the Note 7 presentation they compare the S7 Edge to the Note 7.

I was looking at a couple of YouTube vids, and see what you're saying. One presenter said, "They lessened the curve on edges, and made the top of the screen more a little more flat." I wouldn't enjoy a phone that has icons, apps, reading articles, watching vids, etc., going off the edges of the screen.

  11. textra...I've always used textra on many different phones..usually one of the first 5 apps downloaded..can't tell you what's better but it just is lol...

Textra is sweet! Quick, fast, easy, and no lag whatsoever! I'll definitely recommend it to anyone. Thanks man!

  12. Anyone else having issues with texting (stock messenger)? When texting, I'll send, and notice it takes anywhere from 10-15 seconds for my text I typed to apperar, then there's a slight delay sending. I've cleared cache, rebooted phone many times, and still facing this issue. It's been going on for nearly 2 months.

Are there any other really messengers in Playstore you guys can recommend, that's way better than the stock version?

  13. Upgraded to LG G5 from G3. Now able to get B41 x2 inside my home. Not all the time. But looking good.

On another note, not very many postings on this site lately. Everybody happy or things have slowed down in improvements? Everyone waiting for LTE 800?

Pretty satisfied, except for horrendous upload speeds at home, and a few other areas with B25.
