Does anyone know why some towers won't be getting an upgrade to LTE?

I was on Montaño through that whole area and got nothing, even after rebooting my phone. I hope the far NW side of Abq gets it soon cause im still mainly 1x
Yeah, I haven't connected to LTE there since that night.
My friend just sent me this. Sprint spark?

definitely fiber. I don't think sub one hundred pings are possible on anything else.

I ran the test several times and all tests were below 100. Pretty good ping considering it was rush hour at that intersection

I am continuing to be patient. I work around the Coronado mall. They have not upgraded the towers over here. Right now, my phone is not usable all day. Holidayz!
It looks like the tower there is undergoing Network Vision enhancements. ETR is 12/22/2013

what type of trucks did you see? CenturyLink hopefully.
Brought to you by my Galaxy Note 2, Android 4.4 KitKat
I dropped by this morning and it was an Ericsson truck.

Haha I wish it was CenturyLink. I need to go take a look at what kind of work is being done. I just know that I'm currently roaming over there right now. At the store it says it's undergoing network vision enhancements. Estimated time of repair is 12/12

It looks like they're working on the site near Unser and Montano.

I have an out of state number, so he was in deed calling an out of town number. Why is this happening?
I don't know but it seems like I can call out of state again.
oh just asking because I was hoping you might of known a little more inside info.
I work at an indirect location. So I know about as much as you do lol.
-
do you work for sprint?
not directly.
-
I've been seeing the outgoing call thing all day. It mostly has to do with out of town phone numbers. I haven't seen anyone come in with the problem that hasn't been a out of town number or calling an out of town number.

I would hope that Sprint gets all the towers ready to go before the winter and then centurylink can bring backhaul to all the sites.
Me too. I can only tell customers "in the coming months" for so long.

Do you have a Photon LTE? There is a known issue with the device registering the Sprint account. Contact support and they can assist.
eHPRD and EvDo bounce back and forth all the time even where LTE is deployed.

Yes, I do. I work at an ASC and unfortunately that isn't the problem. I just thought that it was odd that every phone here was on EvDo when I have always gotten eHRPD since it was launched here. The other phones are back to eHRPD now. I didn't know that they go back and forth all the time. Thanks!

I'm no longer connected to eHRPD in the Albuquerque area. I checked numerous other Sprint phones and none of them were connected either.
I kept getting VSNCP Error 3:No P-GW Available which prompted me to check my network state. It's probably a separate issue but I just started getting that error this morning.
Mobile network type EvDo-rev.A:8
I've been a longtime lurker of the site. Just thought I'd post about it to see if anyone else was seeing the same thing.

Ah. I work at an indirect location and a tool we have tells us the estimated upgrade date. One tower showed "no upgrade" instead of a date. I hadn't seen that before so I just thought I'd ask
