  1. finally noticed last night ***4g from the Huntington harbor across from sunset aquatic-- couldn't connect to sensorly for some reason will check tonight see pic --13up--7down
  2. i"ve noticed that even through 4g is on the notification bar trying to just conduct a speed test is a exercise in patience, i see sensory has mapped me to my front door, but there is no way i can log on to the 4g network from my balcony with a straight 3 mile shot to the tower as the crow fly s across the nave base with out a obstruction in sight... ps --sorry to "s4gru" for posting a snippet of the live nv sites, i should know better, wont happen again
  3. Got 4g down seal beach blvd to PCH last night around the weapons station, went south down PCH across the bridge, i live just south of the simple green building and of course as soon as i got to my driveway --back to 3g--but its close---but the difference is shocking, the pic is from the corner of PCH and Seal beach Blvd around 10 MG down, but from my balcony less then 1 mile away i have trouble just logging on to any data network and when it connects i get around 350 kbps-(3g)-that's sad-- Still mapping
  4. I was not getting the coverage (sensorly map) with the "auto network switching" on my Note 2, so i switched to LTE as the preferred network mode--reboot and that worked wonders. also as stated before--either 1) reboot 2)refresh PRL 3) toggle airplane mode (funny, airplanes don't allow airplane mode anymore--ref Jet Blue) will get you instant 4g satisfaction live in irvine
  5. i think its here to stay, (405 & 55) pretty much what sprint promised, 1st quarter of 2013 for oc (sprint promise, now that's funny), it was nice to do a little mapping up in RSM last night and having google maps come up in a flash when you really need it (lost in trabuco land), wow what a difference, it does seem that the 3g speeds almost die when you are next to 4g (see pic). sensorly is about a 2 day backlog..its pretty cool seeing your time driving around in circles--come up
  6. Mcgaw and Redhill still on--but speed is down, i couldn't expect 25mb download speed, that just crazy talk, came in from Huntington and if you notice i was hooked to a server in Colorado with LTE 6mb down--updated the prl to a server in L.A. and back to 16 download.i think they think OC revolves around Irvine, so not sure why i'm not getting an Irvine server--will update PRL again in an hour and get back to 25 down mapping
  7. HI! At Mcgaw and Armstrong, Irvine-over 20mb download-outside-pretty fast- -compared to that 3g i'm used to (see pic) last speed was indoors 20ft away--but the 3 speeds prior... i can learn to live with-- mapping with sensorly
