    Well, there is a new update that started getting pushed out over a week ago. We aren't getting 4.3, but supposedly it's a minor update that sounds like it will be beneficial. I want to update so i can root with the last update this phone will ever see. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

    Are there any other HTC EVO 4g lte owners in here who have received the most recent OTA update? Apparently one of the fixes is for LTE connectivity. Just wondering if anyone has it and if so, if they notice that their phone picks up LTE any better. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

    My route to work this morning takes me northbound on Beach to 295 to JTB West to Gate Parkway. I didnt pick up LTE at any point, so it appears the LTE signal still ends around Beach/Kernan and does not cover the Town Center area. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

    For anyone who doesn't want to wait, you can always go to verizon for two years, and when the contract is up, come back to Sprint and hopefully they will have everything finished by then. 2016 seems about right, since the original word was Jacksonville would be at least 50% complete by fall of 2012. I'm due July of next year. I will need a fully completed LTE rollout with no black holes in the popular areas of town to consider staying.     The problem for me is i was not under contract when i renewed in 2012 based on assertions that LTE would be at least 50% complete by November 2012 and finished by spring of 2013. Now the ETA is summer of 2014 when i am up for renewal. So I will have spent two years with no LTE on my phone. Unlimited data is worthless if the only time i can stream any data at all is on wifi. I really hope my neighborhood is covered soon... as in, within the next couple months. I will pay more for faster, consistent LTE. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

    I live in the same area. Other parts of Jax show up on sensorly but there seems to be a black hole in the rectangle between beach and atlantic and hodges and st. johns bluff. I use wifi at home. My girlfriend uses her AT&T network instead of wifi when she is over because their lte is often faster than my wifi here. The town center shopping area is awful, too. I will say that the Sprint LTE that i picked up while at RAM downtown was pretty awesome. I hope it makes its way to this black hole I live in soon... TONS of homes in this area that will benefit.     Sounds good... just not sure they even have a tower in the Town Center area. When i am there on the weekends i cant get a data signal at all, cant send Mms, and can barely send text messages. I was hoping for a new tower altogether. Maybe one of the towers further away will cover the Town Center with LTE when it's all said and done. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2

    Let's hear about updates on the Southside! Town Center, JTB, beach blvd, kernan, st. johns bluff, etc. Lots of homes in this area and no sensorly results. It is like a big black hole for LTE... funny thing is, Sprint has a busy store in the town center and even the 3G there is really poor. Is Sprint just updating existing towers or are they adding new towers in certain areas, too? Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
