I went from the state line Ohio, up to the Detroit area, all sites were ehrpd. Right outside of the Casino I was almost getting 2 mbps down and 1 up. That was Sat.
mobile with Evo LTE
Was that on LTE or normal 3G?

We never got WiMax... I had 2 phones which had it and paid premium data fees. Now I have GN with the fancy LTE and I'm still waiting. Any word on where NV is around my area? I see the running list thread says October for first sites but I haven't seen my phone connect to anything yet.
My contract expires in 3 months and after 13 years with sprint its too little too late for me.

Just found this post. I'm in Fraser just under Sterling Heights and the NV running list says October to have first LTE sites up. Anyone know of them working on any locations yet?

Be patient. It will come.

LOL they screwed up.

They are only blocking you... rest of us are on 3G LTE
That's not true. They are blocking me too.

Looks like a G-Nex, based on the profile.
Yeah. GN

So what's the current back haul bandwidth now, before NV? I always thought it was too many clients on the tower caused slow downloads not bandwidth. Isn't cdma2000 32 clients Max? I've seen speeds as low as 50kbps with full bars. That would mean they have a T1?

NO SIR. NO. NOT UH. he spoke to a supervisor/customer service rep, you are wrong robert. just walk it off.
You know... you guys are funny here.

Damn it. I just tried and it didn't work. Will have to wait for LTE.

It is if you're connected to LTE, this was 3G Data + Voice.
That's what I was asking about. So I guess E4GLTE is the only phone so far capable of voice and 3g data.
But somehow I read here
http://insidesprintnow.wordpress.com/2012/05/25/svd-simultaneous-voice-data-on-lte-phones/
that all Sprint LTE phones are capable.
-
I assume the Galaxy Nexus on Sprint is also capable?
-
Yeah... funny...
Still, some of us have no idea if there is any work being done in their area. This would at least confirm working sites.

So for those of us who are the lucky few with Sprint LTE handsets such as the Galaxy Nexus or the new EVO 4G LTE, does anyone know of an app that alarms you by a ringtone when LTE connection is estableshed? I wouldn't mind having my LTE radio on while I use my phone day to day just to see if it can connect at any point. But not knowing when it happens makes it pointless to have it on. If any coders are up for a chalange, the app could log successful links to LTE and upload stats to a central database along with location and time of occurance.

Oh yeah. I read about that before. I'm afraid its too late for me. Nexus 4 is about to be released and an unlocked GSM phone sounds good to me right now. The 4G LTE mumbo jumbo doesn't mean anything to me and T-Mobile is pumping 31Mb at my house vs the screenshot I posted earlier on Sprint.
