  1. It's coming from Vacaville, but I've been mapping out and it's coming up the 50 up towards Sacramento Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  2. For those wondering, I got lte in Dixon and at the Sacramento VA national cemetery. 6mbs down 3up Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  3. Nah not 4G as that would be obvious. Enjoy that upgraded 3G speed while you can... they'll be switching back to the shitty legacy 3G antennas after they finish testing and do cluster launches after they get 10-15 cell sites upgraded in an area which will be many, many weeks away. dang I was hoping they were getting ready to test 4g. I was a little over excited lol Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  4. I'm going to. And did you mean 4g in testing? Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  5. Can anyone guess why the speeds have increased so much? Location is inside Walmart in corner of El comino and watt in Arden arcade. Speeds are double and upload is approaching 4g speeds. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  6. 800 will be deployed in either 5x5mhz or 3x3mhz configurations depending on local spectrum availability in lieu of other entities holding portions of the block like Solinco or spectrum squatters... In a 5x5 configuration, the speeds will be no different than PCS other than the fact that you will likely get more usable LTE signal than PCS which translates to better speeds than PCS at the same position as LTE is very signal dependent. In a 3x3mhz configuration, the theoretical max is something like 22 mbps (?). Ok that's makes total sense! Thank you!! Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  7. Two things. First, RF performance has nothing to do with speeds. lilotimz's post is fairly accurate in assessment of RF performance. Just because it's slightly weaker on RF does not mean it will have slow speeds. Once connected, speeds will still be very fast. Second, 800MHz LTE will not be faster than 1900. It will be the same configuration as Sprint's current PCS LTE, except in areas where the SMR spectrum is limited for Sprint. Therefore, it will have the same theoretical max of 37.5Mbps. I could have sworn I read that the recently feed up 800 was going to be faster. I need to apologize for my lack of backup evidence as I cannot for the life of me remember where I read it. 8. However the problem is htc one owners will run into is our phone, well the sprint version, only supports the older slower 1900mhrz band. And will not support the much faster 800 when sprint flips the switch on that band of lte so sadly we may not see the fastest speeds when it comes to data :-( Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  9. In terms of Rf performance: GS4 >=GN2>>>>>LG Opt G >>>>> GS3 >= HT Cone >>>>>>>>> One X Sent from my SPH-D710 that's actually not true at all. The htc one just has a hard time connecting to sites still being tested. I've seen ridiculous speeds on the htc one
  10. I work near the Old Speghetti on Sunrise Ave and ive got 4g lte all day at work. Have regularly gotten 1.0mbytes/sec down, saw a bit over 1.5mbytes/sec at the higher end. that must be one they are still testing and working on to only be getting the speeds you posted. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4 Beta
  11. Oh don't worry, I live in Arden arcade, quite a ways from Citrus Heights. I was just up there delivering some documents to TDS. So i share your pain of no lte :'(
  12. I got some lte signal in citrus heights a few days ago. :-D I'm in Arden arcade and map a lot of roads just to be up to date. Sent from my HTCONE using Tapatalk 4 Beta
