Getting first flashes of LTE just east of High St. in the University District. Not sure if I should post the serving cell info here so I'll post it in the Sponsors forum.

I'm in the campus area and I've been having issues with not receiving texts until hours later, sometimes even the next day.I've been totally dropping data (no 3G, 4G, nothing) in Short North, Hilltop, and Worthington for a few weeks now. Considering the level of completion in some of those markets, my thoughts on the network upgrades range from slightly negative to horrendous. Perhaps it will get better. But as of now, I'm just waiting out my contract.
So to say there's coverage holes is an understatement. I'll note that 5+ years ago I never had issues in Short North, and in fact could impress others with how far inside various bars in the neighborhood I'd have coverage. But today I got the triangle exclamation point standing outside of my gym on High and 2nd. That's...not good.

Got LTE at the Ohio Union on OSU campus yesterday. It was pretty slow but it was there. I'll try to get more info next time I'm there.

I have an iPhone 5 and the only LTE I've gotten around OSU is back a bit off Kenny Road from a pretty distant tower.Someone did some mapping on sensorly on OSU campus but I can't pick up the signal from those locations with my iPhone 5S. Could it be a different frequency or maybe it's sporadic?

I picked up lte over there, it was around 6 pm and lte was up..
Yeah. It was between 7 and 8 p.m. for me. I work there every day and that was the first time I've ever picked up LTE there.

Gotcha. That's the first time I've ever seen LTE in this area. It's the Morse Road site.
Today's post has been brought to you by Sprint, the letters GN and the number 2.

This? That's one of them. Your phone should show two types, think the other is cell identity or something like that.
-
Is this it?Just grab the Serving Cell ID from it. It's probably just the Morse Road or Jackson Pike site. Today's post has been brought to you by Sprint, the letters GN and the number 2.

I'm getting 1-2 bars of LTE just off Kenny Road on OSU campus. Keeps switching back and forth between LTE and five bars of 1x and 3G. I'm trying to get it back and screencap the field test screen but I'm having trouble getting LTE back. I'm on iPhone 5.

Nice to see my hometown getting some love. 3G has been awful there.Heads up to non-sponsors. We have two new LTE sites in the Columbus Market. Zanesville Area. Go ahead and donate some funds to help keep the lights on around here for more Columbus Market details.

It'd be kind of a bummer if SE Ohio doesn't get any NV love. My family is split between Zanesville and Athens, both pretty big areas for that part of the state, and the 3G service is there is, by Sprint's standards, mediocre at best compared to Columbus.

Somewhat off-topic but I'm running iOS 7 on my iPhone 5 and noticed yesterday at Easton that my phone would actually say "1x" on it. Never seen that on a Sprint device before.
-
Drove down Morse today. Speeds were between 4 and 20 Mbps. This was the fastest Speed Test I got.
-
On second thought, you're right.I'm glad I don't live in that area, personally.
-
Great news! Wish I lived in the Northland area, though.
-
I've actually been getting faster data speeds. Near Kenny Road at OSU, I was getting 1.0+ Mbps download as of a few days ago.
-
I'm at OSU campus and no real change either. I was getting about 0.10 down yesterday.
-
Actually, you want to hear that. Central Ohio market will be affected but instead of the usual rollout from inside the market to the out, however we here will be outside and then in. Look at central Indiana perfect example. Muncy then Indy
Interesting. Somewhat disappointing as I live pretty much right in the heart of Columbus and my 3G speeds are nothing but dreadful, but at least it means it's coming.

Apparently the flickerings were on east side. Farrrr east. Newark/Heath they've had some work done and then ppl started getting patchy 4g. I can tell more detailed in PM
Calling Newark/Heath the "east side" is pretty generous, considering they're not even in the same county. Drat.
Hoping things are getting in motion closer to home, though. I'm in the OSU area and my 3G has been consistently abysmal. No signs of improvement in my neck of the woods.

How far out does the Columbus market extend for Sprint?
-
Guy at a local Sprint store told me yesterday we're getting LTE in Columbus 6-8 months from now and that we're "lucky" because they're ahead of schedule. Of course, I have no idea if that guy actually knows what he's talking about.

Permit map as been updated
Link?

Hi all. Sorry I'm a bit new to this, but if work permits and such are being filed now for Columbus, approximately when does that mean launch will be for LTE?

Steady LTE all day today indoors at work on OSU's west campus.
