  1. Alright got new HTc One m8 I am back in Belle Chasse getting Band 25 LTE not bad 17 Down 5 Up my last speed test. Was having issues in metairie/kenner with no 3g /te and constant roaming... Went to workout in metaire where i normally get lte/ 3g and it was not there so i'm sure its tower they are working on. Hopefully the gym has Wi-Fi i stream my gym music

Being in front of that tower helps.

Where I work at it depends on where I'm at on the property on what speeds I get. Where I'm at now I'll get 1 mb down. When I'm in the back where I see that tower I get from 15 - 20.

  2. The S3 isn't affected by Ericsson forgetting the CSFB patch on the new customer launched band 26 sites. Only the newer devices that have the walmart logo feature on them.

Would he still have issues even set to 3g only tho?

  3. I didn't mean to put this in the NO thread....(brain fart)....but if you guys could help it would be much appreciated, after all both markets are in the Ericsson service area.

Go south young man... Go south. Lol

You could be picking up a tower in testing right now. I had to watch a couple sites like that close to my home and it was blocking me from using any data

You can try looking at the completed site map and look for any that may be accepted south of your home.

  4. that reading was in front of the tower on Robinson St.

I am checking speeds and LTE rf output levels at the towers around me.

There is a tower on Airline near Williams that is 1.2 miles from my QTH. I am located on 3rd Street adjacent to the levee. ( I guess I am not supposed to give tower number or exact location?) This my nearest LTE tower. The LTE signal level varies from -106 to -119.  There are two large birds nests on the tower. One nest has sticks that are between the radio and the antenna panel with sticks going into the panel. I suspect that the sticks in the panel are reducing the signal to some extent. This is on the sector facing my QTH. Have been attempting to get them removed for several weeks with many promises but no results

Ericcson has gone to the site several times and I believe that they have raised the rf output. I read -48db across the street from the tower on the LTE signal. Got a download the the 30g range.

I wonder what is the maximum rf out signal that anyone has seen on the 1900 LTE?????

Not out here you're not supposed to give tower numbers. Sense you are a sponsor you can spill all the beans in the sponsor area where we say everything.

  5. Good speeds. Any idea which site you are getting this from?

The lat. and lon. on his screencap actually brings it to Robertson St.

That would be from  Russell's Cleaners by Arnoult Rd. Literally right in front of the tower.

  6. I sign in with Twitter, and have problems being able to sign in with Tapatalk on my phone. It doesn't accept my user name or password. But, I don't have to sign in very often on my desktop.

You have to create password for your account. When you sign into Tapatalk using Twitter, you have to type a physical user name and password to sign into s4gru

  7. On digiblurs signature (post above your first question), the first link will tell you how to access your engineering screen.

We can tell which tower by the info you get from there.

We have a full spreadsheet that we keep a track of the info but you need to be a sponsor to have access to it.   If interested he has a link on becoming a sponsor as well in his signature.

  8. I don't know if anybody else has been by them, but I haven't been by any of the two towers that may service Woodmere to know if any upgrades have been done.  All that is known now is they are not broadcasting LTE yet.

I may detour to them tomorrow and see if anything was done yet.

But depending on where exactly in Woodmere you're located in, you should connect to one of the towers along Barataria while standing outside.

  9. No. Maybe check your cookie settings?

All cleared and cookies are enabled. I had the same issue on another message board that uses the same version as this one.

They had the same issue but the admin found a setting changed somehow on the upgrade.

  10. One of my co-workers has T-mo and the unlimited plan that he signed up for is nice and all, but after (I think) 5 gigs of data, he gets throttled down to a 2g connection.  He doesn't use his phone that much so I don't think he will have to worry about it.

If Sprint ever decides to make that decision to do a data cap, or a throttle, hopefully they will do like AT&T.  IA couple of my friends are grandfathered in to an unlimited plan.  No throttle, no caps.

  11. - LG Muziq

    - LG Rumor (Later I started to refer to it as my LG Hoopty because my batter didn't last but a few hours, so I took the battery from two of my friends Rumors, both which was Alltel phones. So my phone was black and blue with either a red or purple battery.)

    - HTC Evo 4G

    - Samsung S3

I also been on Verizon and Nextel as well in the past.  I don't remember the phones or model numbers, but I do know that I had the first color screen phone, and the first camera phone that Nextel had. I used to really like that little button that flipped the phone open for you lol

  12. I wouldn't go out of your way to confirm them as I figured out most of them already. Now where your phone will be a huge help is when there is a mystery signal found by others you can snag the Hex code and know exactly which site it is. Dem_bone might come steal your phone to find it ;)

    Never thought of that... lol

I haven't been to that area of Marrero to see if 240 is still there.
