  1.

I too have seen a bunch of Wes Tower trucks, both normal F-150's and some bigger work type trucks. Saw a Beta Com truck for the first time in Brooks as I was getting off 65 today. I saw a Wes Tower truck last week at the McD's on Blankenbaker while on lunch. I'm pretty confident that we will see lte sooner than the end on this year. There are a few in progress sites listed on the sponsors NV sites complete map. At the moment these appear to be backhaul work, but these will likely be some of the first sites in Louisville. You can donate to become a sponsor to gain access to the maps to see where these sites are, as well as sponsor only forums where we discuss this further. Based on the speed of deployment in most of the active markets, I don't think it will take too long to get decent lte coverage in Louisville once they start. Happy LTE hunting.

I can not say no to a fellow Cardinal fan. Is PayPal an option for donating? Would be nice since I always hunt through the world wide intraweb for 4G updates in our area.

    Thanks for the reply.

  2. I have some things I have noticed in the Louisville, KY area, mainly east of I-65.

    Lots of Wes Tower trucks

All towers in Louisville now show as EHRPD

Likend (maybe misspelled that) accounts for people in the Louisville area listed as Wes Tower site acquisition manager for Sprint.

Does this mean that we are possibly a year out from seeing an actual 4G signal pop up?

If nothing else its something to speculate on.

    Thanks in advance.

  3. I'm not sure if anyone else has noticed or posted this about the Louisville area, but every site that I have connected to over the past month has had the software upgraded to Ehprd. I know that doesn't mean much in the big picture, but it is a start. That's not saying the speeds in our area are any better, though in prospect I was able to pull 2.5Mps on 3G. Others would laugh, but around here, that's unheard of.
