You might have Sprint reprovision your line again, and check your SIM card. Sounds like there might be an issue there.

Update: That was exactly what the problem was. Stopped by the local corporate store on my way to work tonight and got it fixed. Thanks.

Ok. Cool. I swapped it with a Online Chat agent so its highly probable that there could be an issue, lol.

Where are you? Do you get any LTE at all? Have you done an airplane toggle in known LTE areas? Is anyone else experiencing issues?

Ive done it all. Airplane mode toggle, PRL Update, Profile Update, Reboots...all that I know. My wifes iphone is getting LTE and I'm not. My network is on LTE/CDMA and I'm located in Colonial Heights, VA. I just got the G3 today. Had LTE on my Note before i swapped. Nothing since i swapped though.

Everywhere? Like no LTE? You should get it in more places...

Coming from a Note 3. Everywhere I used to pick up LTE I don't with G3. Anybody else encountered this problem?

  1. Hey guys. I'm in the Tri-City area (Petersburg, Hopewell, Colonial Heights) about 20 miles south of Richmond and I was getting LTE in Chester around the end of July-beginning of August and have seen no improvement since then.  I know some of you have experienced some improvements on the Northside of RVA but do we know why we haven't seen any work done in the Tri-City area yet?  There have only been 2 towers in Chester that have been updated for LTE and that was mapped mid summer.  Just curious as to why it seems like work has stopped around my area.

  2. Yea I've been itching to get down to that area. My fiance is from Newport News and next time we are down there I plan on taking full advantage of my unlimited data...haha. But yea I do miss having my E4GT because of WiMax when I travel north a bit to Richmond/Chesterfield but I'm rarely in those areas. I checked the sprint.com/network page and it said that towers in my area were given a capacity upgrade and a speed upgrade in the past 6 months so I'm sure this wasnt NV related BUT I am happy my phone is usable now.

  3. Seeing a HUGE jump in 3G performance here. Speeds have been hovering between 100kbps and 300kbps for a looong time. (Since iPhone release) Noticed while I was out a couple days ago that my instagram was loading pretty fast so I decided to do a speed test and was happily surprised at the results. Tried streaming some ESPN Radio and it actually worked...lol...Things are getting alot better in Central VA.
