Whats going on with Shakopee, Savage, Prior Lake, and West Bloomington?!?!?!?

The following is a part of an email received by some businesses in the MN area. The dates affected are March 20 to April 10.

 

Sprint Nextel will be performing network maintenance to ensure the continued reliability of your services. A description of the impact is listed below:

Maintenance Description: Sprint will be performing a Network Deployment Scheduled Maintenance activity to consolidate multiple network technologies into one new, seamless network with the goal of increasing efficiency and enhancing network coverage, call quality and data speeds for customers across the United States on a new 3G and LTE network nationwide. This activity may result in a loss of CDMA Data Connections and/Or Dropped Calls services intermittently during the scheduled time below in the Min-Minneapolis market

Yup, got that email awhile back.... All I know is that if its not for 4g upgrades I'm asking for a discount.

The crew at 10th and Adams is my crew no LTE for you unless you bought a t-mobile phone.. you would have also notice a crew on the power tower by apple ford last week.

How about the tower by Ford, is that Sprint or T mobile as well?

Work is happening right now on the tower closest to my home in Bloomington. Happiness abounds - they appear to be going from west to east in Bloomington of late.

Same here on my end.... The Prior Lake water tower at County roads 21 and 42 had workers on it Friday, same with the Shakopee water tower off of 10th Ave and Adams St.

At least I am hoping this is LTE going up and not just a tease....

When all of this awful weather goes away and sping time comes around, hopefully we will see a huge advancement in the Sprint 4G LTE coverage

Any reports of new sites online? I've checked Sensorly but it's early yet. I usually don't see anything new until late in the afternoon.

Well I know for certain the WT#1 on 10th has not had a pre-con with sprint they have some serious existing structural issues as of last week and for sure won't start until my guys are done and, the high-line tower behind target has not started yet. I will be working on the site on the tower next to apple ford next week so it will be powered down all week
