Was this pole there when you where on the 27th? It doesn't look like its been there long.

I can't really remember, but I don't recall seeing that there at all.

Got some backhaul ran to sites but nope. Keep watching the towers!
What exactly is back haul?

Any new news?

I usually get around .80 Mbps, and I got over 2 tonight, maybe work is being done?

I'm not seeing Ericsson NV cabinets. I only saw what appeared to be legacy Sprint panels on the rung that appeared to be Sprint to me.
Robert
So that means they even have started working on it yet?
-
Thanks for taking some pictures, saves me a trip. Looks like you walked right up to the site. Mind telling me what the zoom was of your camera, 35mm equivalent if you know?
I used my iPhone 5, and I didn't zoom very much

These probably aren't the best pictures, or the ones I needed to post, but I just took pictures of everything I saw. This site was the one in Florissant.

This is part of the NV upgrade that includes LTE, yes. We don't know what state these sites are in, whether there will be any physical work going on or not. But if you can get up there and take a picture, please do! And let us know what you find!
I'm about to start heading that way now, so I'll post pictures when I get back in an hour or so.

I looked at the map, and it shows 2 sites, one in florrisant and one deeper in st. Louis are these for the lte that are being worked on? because if they are, then I'm going to drive up there now to take some pictures or check it out.
-
So since work is starting to begin or already may have begun, how soon can we see some sort of LTE?
-
I live about 30 minutes away from St. Louis, and I used to get over 1.0 mbps or an average of .8 but recently I've been getting around .2 or .3 mbps. Do you think that they might be doing work around here and trying to get better speeds, so they're service is not as fast? I've been really disappointed. and actually when I was in St. Louis for a night, my phone would't load a single thing. no maps, no facebook, no google on safari. disappointed.
-
If I was the CEO of sprint, I'd be embarrassed to let people have these speeds.. LolThat still pretty good compared to what most people are seeing, generally anywhere from 0.1 - 0.5Mbps.
-
I actually live like 40 minutes away from St. Louis so this was actually pretty high for normal. Usually I get around .7 MbpsDon't feel bad, that's faster than EV-DO for Verizon is through most of St. Louis. Far faster than where I live, actually.

I just checked the coverage maps for Missouri, and now they have LTE on highway 70, real close to Jefferson city. Which 2 weeks ago wasn't there. Is this good news that it's heading towards STL?
-
Living in Champaign this deal sounds great to me. Sprint is quite spectrum-constrainted in many of the former iPCS markets and this seems to address that. More spectrum in Chicago can only be a good thing as well.
I live in Alton, 45 minutes from St. Louis. I'm glad that sprint is also doing this because it just means better and faster service for us.

It specifies that it's going to help the mid west region including STL. Is that good news for LTE here soon or no?
-
Sorry, about all the posts.. Couldn't figure out how to post a screen shot.

I just can't stand these speeds..

Hi, I know that the Missouri market is probably in the 2nd or 3rd round. When do you think STL will get LTE? When exactly are the 2nd and 3rd round coming out? An estimate, does anyone know?
Thanks, Thomas

What is the password to see the Sponsor Maps? Or is it blocked for everyone now?
