Yes, I do. I might check out the Port at some point.

Did you go further south like you planned? Looks like you may have and the signal faded
I did. I was driving to Melbourne and lost the signal before I got out of Rockledge. I also filled in some of the areas Wildman didn't get to.
-
I drove around some more today. The Sensorly map should be updated.

Nice..I love collaboration..Did you have any issues picking up the signal? Did you have to toggle at all
My phone picked up the signal well. I never had to toggle. There's a slight lag, but that's understandable.

Was that you on Rockledge Blvd?
Yes. I plan on looking south of where Wildman was, tomorrow.

The could have been testing when you passed the first time..Make sure you flip your phone into airplane mode and then back to LTE just in case when you are searching
I just went out for a quick drive around the area and did find LTE. It's mapped on Sensorly. I will drive around some more tomorrow to see where the signal ends in all directions.

I just drove around and I couldn't find the LTE signal again.

No harm no foul..good to have you onboard..Did you get a chance to run sensorly? If you don't have it make sure you get it from the Market, see a signal? run the app.
Just downloaded it. I will try it this evening. Thanks.

I didn't "attack" anyone. I just tried to educate a new member. And whether you care about where the tower is or not, he obviously does.
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Forum Runner
Obviously, you did not perceive it that way. However, it did come off as less of an education and more of an attack. Anyway, the point was that LTE is active in this area...regardless of where the tower is. All I was trying to do was share that information here, where I thought that it would be appreciated.

What makes you sure there is a Sprint tower where you think it is? Even if you knew that, how do you know which tower was providing a 4G signal?
The first thing you should do is become an S4GRU sponsor to gain access to the actual Sprint tower maps. Then go looking for the actual site hosting the LTE signal. It may be further away than you think.
Hmmm...you are welcome to do what you would like with the information that I shared.

Maybe not all of the sectors are active. The one pointing towards your house may not be turned on yet.
That is probably accurate. I will check out areas to the north and west this weekend.

I was just driving in Rockledge and noticed that I was on 4G. Oddly, the tower is about 4 blocks west of my house, but I cannot get 4G (I can see the tower from my backyard). I actually lost the signal after driving one block east of the tower. However, I drove about 1 mile south and did have 4G the entire time. I lost it when my phone grabbed the signal from the next tower to the south.
The map shows the route that I was driving.

Wow, Grant?! There's nothing down there. I have been doing some biological surveys down that way. I will keep an eye out for signal.
